Greater than one weekI have only owned this product a short time, but it is obviously very well made. Its very flexible and durable and it should last a long time. Unlike cheaper cords it has heavy-duty 12 gauge wire. Ill buy a few more soon.

> 3 dayI use this cable to power my snow blower. The cable is strong and high quality. We even drove over it with the snow blower - accidentally wrapping it up into the snow blower - I was worried that it had damaged the cable or even severed it. But no, the durable external cover of the cable remained in tact and kept us safe.

> 3 dayHigh quality cord with lighted ends that is blows away some of the low quality Chinese made junk found in some of the big box stores. You get what you pay for and you wont regret spending extra for the quality.

> 3 dayYou need to do your homework when using extension cords with power hogs such as power tools, etc. There is a phenomenon known as line drop which refers to the amount of amperage/wattage that is gobbled up by undersized wire. The result is that your power tool gets a diet portion of electricity. Even though the tools operates normally the windings in the motor are starved for electricity and heat up. That is how tools get burned out. So even though an extension cord with a #12 wire is difficult to haul around because of the weight it is well worth it. Now is you are just running some lights then a small cord is fine.

Greater than one weekBought this mainly to run an air compressor with a 15 amp draw as well as other outdoor power tools. I was using a 16ga standard orange 100 ft extension cord that just wasnt cutting it considering the cord coming off the compressor was 14ga. It kept tripping the breaker on cold starts until the motor warmed up, so after a little research I decided the cord needed an upgrade. I considered buying the 10ga but took a gamble on this product since it was double the price and it runs the compressor like it was plugged straight into the wall. You notice the difference in quality over your standard cheap Christmas light extension cords, and having a lighted connection is a plus. Flexibility is good and does not seem to be an issue even in colder weather. Very happy with the company that makes this and would buy their products again.
