This is the screen you need for a generation 5 iPad. When I searched for a screen and digitizer, I was thrown off because I couldn’t find them separate and the reviews for this one made it sound like I needed another piece because this screen. I bought this screen anyways and was just hoping it’s what I needed and it was. It was rough getting the old screen off. Be very careful taking the connectors apart especially for the home button. I recommend watching a YouTube video first. Once getting the old screen off and it cleaned up for the new one, it wasn’t difficult to replace. My only down fall is that for a couple more bucks it would have been nice for the seller to have added adhesive. I was afraid of getting the wrong kind. I recommend the seller and this screen. It came on time and with everything I needed for repair. Thank you! I’m a real customer and I wasn’t paid for this review. Lol

My screen was cracked but worked fine after replacing it and installing the new one the digitizer did not work but only parts of it.

the screen looked good once installed and with upgraded double side tape, the install went very easy. Unfortunately after install, the screen had dead spots around the edges approximately 1 width.

I tried to apply pressure for a night to hold adhesive in place and nothing helped. The screen keeps popping up open in the corner. It looks like adhesive can not hold it in place.

I bought this to replace my old iPad screen, which was cracked and broken. Long story short. The replacement screen was wonderful. If you watch a good enough video on YouTube, you will know how to replace it easily everything worked out flawless.
