The digitizer did not work properly. The home button did not work at all. We kept the iPad in a child proof case along with a screen protector and one drop, where it landed on the cushioned case and the screen shattered. Horrible purchase. Will not be replacing the screen with this one again.

Product came on time but quality lacking, slight crack at corner realized after install. Button on screen loose and floats around, tap function doesn’t always work. Not the best quality.

Everything worked great, I have done a few of these already and only complaints is there are no instructions (for those who havent done these) and the blue strips to cover adhesive are hard to get off little extra tab hanging off definitely would help.

All parts of the repair process went smoothly. Everything looks right and nice. But my ipad wont power on. Disconnected and reconnected everything and now it works. Very nice to not have a cracked screen. Very nice screw driver by the way.

Update: all was well at first, but after a couple of months I started getting phantom screen presses all the time which drove me crazy. Apps or videos would switch of their own accord. Some edges also came unstuck and the home button came loose. A bit tricky to fit, as they all are, but take your time and it works great. Only downside is the lack of Touch ID, but if you have the original home button, you can replace the one that comes with the kit. No issues so far.

Everything seemed great at first. It was an easy install but after a few weeks, the adhesive let go and the whole screen is off now.

I bought this as I have been paying well over 200 per screen repair. I had not looked at the former reviews, I should have. It was on my IPad for little less than a month when the digitizer started to input other characters. A few days later it started typing or pushing random places on the screen. By the end of the second month My IPad seemed possessed it was popping in and out of applications typing on its own. The adhesive also started coming apart. So my screen was also sagging. I was using the IPad for work at the time so it was very inconvenient.

This product came with everything needed to replace a cracked screen. I looked up the instructions took my time removing the bad screen as well as when replacing the screen. You will need patience but the final finish made me happy. My son gave me this ipad and I smashed it by accident. Geek Squad would not replace the screen so I decided to take a chance. Very happy I did. sorry for no pictures but it really came out awesome.
