Way easier than I thought it would be. Hairdryer on the edges and plug and play. Only wish I had read the description so I could have saved my old button. Now I need the button to restore Touch ID.

Basically killed my iPad. We followed instructions but nothing worked. Have to just get a new iPad now

A disappointing aspect of this product is that there were ZERO instructions - not even a look to a specific video tutorial. So, I had to spend a lot of time finding a good video tutorial that showed the precise steps. (This vendor should really make the effort to create their own video tutorials.) The MOST disappointing aspect was that the day after successfully installing the screen, I found a significant break on the screen just to the right of the home button. There were no drops of the iPad, so I can only assume this was due to a defect on the glass that is mentioned in at least one other review for this product. I understand this isnt gorilla glass, but that original iPad screen lasted for 3 years without any damage. One day after installing this screen, and theres a crack...? Yikes...

Anyone can do it yourself. I did, they wanted $130 to replace my iPad cracked screen. I had nothing to loose, but I did it. Tip,,, be patient and not rush.

IPad was dropped and screen shattered. Found this and thought we would give it a try. Took some time to remove the old screen but installation was pretty easy after watching some helpful YouTube videos. Installed it over 4 months ago and it still works great. Works just like the original screen. Saved us from having to buy a new one.

Fit perfectly. No loose edges or areas that didn’t stick. I’ve used other vendors’ replacement screens and had to reconnect the ribbon cable connectors multiple times to get the entire screen to function properly. This one clicked right In to the board and worked first try. Hardest part was removing the button assembly and replacing with the original iPad button (to retain the fingerprint function).

The kit arrived without instructions, which is entirely unacceptable. Even the best replacement screen and tools in are useless without the instructions!

Easy to install and works great but the adhesive seal doesn’t hold well on the ribbon cable side. I placed books on it overnight to ensure a good seal and it still doesn’t hold well. You can feel it pop up when using the iPad.

Comes with all the tools and very easy to install.
