Works fine, my daughter is always cracking the screen and it’s easy to replace it.

Product works perfectly and was very easy to install, but the adhesion near the connectors does not hold very well. You have to and an additional adhesion strip and apply extra pressure at that spot. Overall the product is a great replacement and the price is reasonable!

to most negative reviewers: are you serious about expecting instructions? do you get instructions when buying auto parts on how to replace them? And if you receive broken product, return it, why leaving negative review? Please read description, the item does not come with touch id home button. And replacing original home button is the hardest part since it wont stay in place as in original unit. The best I came up with was to add silicone underneath it which holds it in place. But the screen itself works great. Adhesive sucks as with mostly all screens, so get B7000 glue for the replacement job.

It came in an envelope with no instructions. I tried to YouTube the instructions but all videos on YouTube had other tools that was not included in this kit. The screwdriver did not fit. The opening tool completely ruined my iPad it’s scratched up the data or informs pad now I don’t just have a broke screen It’s completely broken. It worked until using this opening tool that completely damaged the outsource screen

I’ve spent more than this IPad is worth on getting “Professionals” to fix the screen. I figured I should at least try to do it myself. It was WAY easier than I thought it would be and works like new. I will never take a cracked iPad to a store again. I’m also glad I got the screen with the home button preinstalled.

I have a Microsoft A+ certificate and have built many a home computer from the mother board up. Never in my twenty plus years of working on computers have I seen such a frustrating item as this. Theres absolutely no instructions included for removing the broken glass or for installing this item. I had to go on Youtube to find any information. I spent three hours trying to connect the ribbon cable leading from the Home button to its proper place on the ipad. It just would not seat and would keep falling out of its assigned slot. No matter how I tried and tried. Finally I just gave up and threw the whole thing in the trash as the slot became totally not useable.

Went in and fits an iPad 5the gen perfectly but cracked next day after normal wear and tear. My guess is not good quality. I have replaced many iPad screens and when they break easily it is because I bought a cheap one. This one was not cheap but crack way to easy.

Basically killed my iPad. We followed instructions but nothing worked. Have to just get a new iPad now
