Good screen but the task of removing and installing is much harder than an iPhone. Could have made a better guide to help out. Had to YouTube multiple videos to figure it out.

Once it was installed, everything came together and you will have to remember your password to get into your ipad.

Just got around to installing this screen and there are spots on the screen that do not respond to touch. It is past the return window so I am stuck buying a new one.

Don’t but it after a few weeks the screen fouls up now it goes crazy with out touching anything! Junk !

This is a very good product. Contained all of the items I needed to get the job done except for a heat gun and safety glasses. The glass on my screen was shattered into very small pieces so I had a more difficult time removing the old glass and ended up damaging the home screen button cable. One of the great things about this product is that is comes with its own pushbutton and cables already attached to the screen (what a relief). Its all back together and working. My skill level: I have never replaced an iPad or iPhone screen. Overall I am handy individual that can repair many types of items such as musical instruments, appliances and some electronic items. MAKE SURE YOU WEAR SAFETY GLASSES to protect your eyes from glass shards from the old screen.

Screen work great. Touch and look seems like OEM. Only negative is the adhesive. Screen kept wanting to pop up on one side where the ribbons are. I made sure ribbons were tucked down. But still wanted to come up. Put a little weight on it for a few days and now seems to be sticking now.

super thin replacement glass. this glass will crack if you look at it, touch it or try to install it. amazon + china are in it to rule the world and they are doing a damn fine job!!! wamp wamp wamp waaaaaa

Dropped my ipad 5th generation 128gb ($299 from costco) on the power button edge, screen cracked and power button seized up. Initially ordered another touch screen digitizer that cracked right out of the box. This one was awesome. By the way, i consider myself a excellent diy person, but never messed with an iPad or similar electronic. This product was great righ out of the box( regret not making a video), the Phillips screwdriver was the right size and magnetic. The touchscreen had pre-glued on strips. Disposable wipes were ok, but i had to use a microfiber cloth to clean the lcd screen before final installation. The home button doesnt support fingerprint, so i warmed up the bracket holding the preinstalled one on, removed it, and slipped it my old one. Overall I found everything to be just whats needed. I had to remove power button, sand it down a little, scraped off glue from inside edges where old touchscreen was, followed YouTube videos. For $24, I saved $250 what apple was asking for touchscreen ( not to mention the power button problem)
