Zoo Med Floating Turtle Log

> 3 dayThe product is made from resin and really resembles a log . The item is weighted so that it doesn’t rotate when a turtle climbs on to it . Two disadvantages to this item is that it is free to float around , so it will not remain under a basking light and it will not support a full size adult red ear slider.

> 3 dayMy turtles love this. Wished I had bought this when I first got them. I wished they would make a bigger one for when they outgrow this.

> 3 dayI don’t have a turtle, but I bought this for my garter snakes. They love it! It serves as a hide and a basking spot under their lamp. I see them curled up on it all the time.

> 3 dayWorked great as expected. It takes up a lot of space of our 40 gallon breeder tank. Our two must turtles love it however think I would buy the medium size if I were to do it again.

> 3 daygood thing is it does float, bad thing is my turtles has never once climb on it at all. However, the fishes love it as they gather underneath it a lot, its not entirely useless, so I guess it still works out for me.

> 3 dayMy son’s turtle likes the log, he likes to hang out inside and on top of it. I really didn’t like the packaging of it in the box, it was a mess getting it out of the box little pieces of styrofoam everywhere. But I do recommend this for a turtle, it doesn’t have paint that flakes off and it is sturdy compared to other things I bought the turtle.

> 3 dayMy turtle loves it! I used to have two hatchlings in my tank & they both loved to go in & stick their heads out. I’ve since separated them & kept the shy turtle in & he loves the log. He will eventually not fit inside but he also uses the top to bask.
