> 3 dayWas v skeptical about buying but turns out, it’s GREAT! We have it outside in our 140 gallon turtle/fish pond and our red earred sliders took right to it & they swim and sleep inside and will climb on top and bask (it really doesn’t roll over either) they absolutely love it! BTW pretty sure this is my first ever Amazon review! Must BUY!

> 3 dayMy turtle loves it! I used to have two hatchlings in my tank & they both loved to go in & stick their heads out. I’ve since separated them & kept the shy turtle in & he loves the log. He will eventually not fit inside but he also uses the top to bask.

> 3 dayThis is a great product for my turtle. I started with the zoo med floating turtle dock but then wanted to give this log a try to go with it. Had to buy it used cuz it was too expensive but I’m pretty sure he likes it. I heard some negative reviews about “your turtle will drown” but wanted to take my chances but it’s fine cuz he’s too big to fit inside. Mostly bought it for turtle and cuz it looks realistic and good detail. It actually does float and doesn’t sink to the bottom… Turtle enjoys it a lot I’d say 10 stars and 100% satisfied. Highly recommend for turtle owners. EDIT: about 2 months later, he got stuck inside. 10 minutes after i fed him, I heard him banging on the glass, and i knew something was wrong. i looked and he was stuck inside all the way. apparently, a shrimp got in there. of course, he went after it, and thats what happened... at that point, we were both thinking the same thing: what do I do now? Had to take log out of turtle tank and put it in the bath tub. i tried to gently pull him out from behind, but i couldnt from the front or he couldve bitten me. He was totally stuck inside and i was about to break the log open with my bare hands, hopefully without hurting him. But thankfully i didnt have to cuz he got out, eventually, with my help. The problem was is that when he knew he was stuck, he tried to escape through the way he was facing. thats how he got really stuck cuz for some reason, that side of the log had a smaller opening. so then he tried going out the way he came in, (which wouldve been a good idea) but i dont blame him cuz he just a turtle. I was about to pull him gently from behind, but he was halfway out and I chose not to cuz i didnt know if i was hurting him, i just let him do it himself, cuz he knows what hurts him, but I dont. He got out, thank god. i dont think he was hurt but he looked really stressed, as i was. I was just relieved he was ok. he got nothing to bask on now cuz i threw out the basking dock cuz it broke a while ago. got to buy another dock now i guess. i think what Im trying to say is that this log almost DROWNED my soulmate. I noticed the original review, I said he was too big to fit inside... but that was True though cuz i contacted the seller for questions I had. Well, what i didnt know was that he still COULD get stuck inside. Now i know. its not always what it seems... READERS BEWARE.

> 3 dayOk this is the best thing ever!!! Outdoor pond and our turtle LOVES IT! He threw his little turtle suitcases away and has completely moved in! So many basking platforms, etc. for aquariums. This is the BEST option for outdoor ponds. It floats and is stable for our turtle (ok he could leave whenever he wants but wont now for sure)! Saw the reviews about it losing buoyancy. OK so if I gotta buy one every year it will be worth the money!

> 3 dayI have had this log in my turtle tank for a few years. First we thought it was great but as our turtle has grown he gets stuck inside the log. This log is great for small turtles but not for one bigger then the palm of your hand.

> 3 dayMy 5 aquatic turtle loves this log. He basks on top of it, moves it around his habitat, and hides from his pet goldfish inside it. Sometimes hes inside for hours with his neck stretched out the sidehole so the tip of his snout reaches fresh air. He stands under it and pushes it around the habitat, and positions it sometimes so the fish cant bother him. Ive had this log for my turtle for over 2 years and just love it. Its easy to clean and my turtle is the right size that he doesnt get stuck. I will report back if he outgrows it but for now hes been totally fine.
