> 3 dayGreat product, but kind of large for my 29 gallon tank. Id suggest using it in something larger. It has a very realistic, bark-like texture, which is great, but thats also the reason I didnt give it five stars -- those grooves are a great habitat for algae, and good luck cleaning that off once it starts accumulating. Overall, though, I really like it and would still recommend this item.

> 3 dayI have a 20 something year old red ear slider turtle. She has a 75 gallon tank. I bought this as an experiment as to whether she would use it or not. She loves it. While she spend a lot of time swimming around the tank, she also enjoys climbing up to get dry under the UVB and heat lights. I would buy this again and again if need be.

> 3 dayThe turtle loves it. He sits on it most of the day. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is it floats around the tank instead of staying under the light, and since he is a basking turtle staying in place is crucial. Maybe it is the strength of the filter pushing it, maybe weigh it down heavier in the future.

> 3 dayI bought this for my baby map turtle. He has quickly grown to 4”-5” from top of shell to bottom. The log itself is really stable and floats above water nice. The problem itself seems to be large turtles and the logs floatation. My log lost buoyancy after a few months and took in water. I already added the plastic packaging styrofoam type of material inside the log to raise it higher in the water. To lift it higher I added a thicker layer of some packing foam I had saved prior and conveniently black in color. I also solved the problem of the log floating around by adding a zoo-med magnet with line tied around one of its holes to the inside magnet clip. This works perfect. My set up is actually under my YouTube channel: JJLTX

Greater than one weekWorked great as expected. It takes up a lot of space of our 40 gallon breeder tank. Our two must turtles love it however think I would buy the medium size if I were to do it again.

> 3 dayI have 2 grown red eared sliders and neither of them has paid much attention to the log since I put it in their pond a couple weeks ago. They seem to like the stationary platform I made better but the log looks good in the pond anyway, so its not a total loss.

> 3 daygood thing is it does float, bad thing is my turtles has never once climb on it at all. However, the fishes love it as they gather underneath it a lot, its not entirely useless, so I guess it still works out for me.

Greater than one weekOur two red eared sliders love it. They hide inside and bask on the top. Well worth the money. Very happy with this product.

> 3 dayThis product is awesome. Turtles took to it right away. My turtles are large. Holds their weight, they are able to bask and go in and out of logs. At night that is where they rest for sleep. I strongly recommend this product. Looks good in tank too. Quality? Top Notch!
