Worked great as expected. It takes up a lot of space of our 40 gallon breeder tank. Our two must turtles love it however think I would buy the medium size if I were to do it again.

My turtles love this. Wished I had bought this when I first got them. I wished they would make a bigger one for when they outgrow this.

I have two of them tied together to make an island for my water turtle, he loves it. He can enjoy the sunshine without being bothered by any other animals.

I have 2 red ear sliders about the size of my hand, I bought each of them one and they seem to love it!

Purchased for my pond turtle, Walter. I read conflicting reviews about whether it floats or not...it does! We stuck it in the pond and Walter loves it. Hes an adult red eared slider, about 7-8 inches, and loves to climb on top of it to bask. It supports him well. Our pond fish love swimming through it too, especially when buzzards go overhead, though Ive yet to see our frogs use it. Will be buying more soon!

Our turtle loves her log. We have a small pond in our backyard and I ordered this so our turtle could sun bathe. Its perfectly weighted and stays afloat.

This thing is great looking and it does do what I was looking for but with one flaw, its gigantic. I have a 40 gallon tank and once this was put in the tank, my turts had no room left to swim. Had to return. I can imagine this working well in a basin or pond type enclosure. Oh, also I saw pictures with suction cups and they do NOT come with any. Just FYI.

We bought this for our 2 water turtles who are now about 4-5 in diameter. They love to get in it, and poke their heads out the holes. We find them in it, more than on top of it. But, they really seem to like that they have a place to hide, but keep their heads above water. Floats well, and doesnt spin over. Ours did not have a suction cups, and no obvious way to attach to aquarium, so it is free floating.

I have this in my 65 gallon tank and it’s great. It is free floating and so it moves around a lot but I think my turtle enjoys that, his filter kind of keep the log in one corner. It’s definitely his favorite thing to sun bathe on. I had to get another platform in addition to this one to feed him ok because this one rocks so much when he climbs on that he will dump all his food in the water. But overall it’s definitely his favorite spot to be either inside it or on top of it.

I have 2 grown red eared sliders and neither of them has paid much attention to the log since I put it in their pond a couple weeks ago. They seem to like the stationary platform I made better but the log looks good in the pond anyway, so its not a total loss.

The new natural looking Floating Turtle Log provides security, comfort, and stress reduction for aquatic turtles, newts, frogs, mudskippers, and tropical fish. The hollow resin log floats just at the surface so that turtles can bask on top of it or hide submerged inside. Its Bottom-weighted design prevents the log from rolling over, even with two 4 (10cm) turtles on top."
