The Real HD switch is perfect for my project. Initially the switch will be used for POE and regular devices within the range of Cat6 RJ45 copper cables. Very soon I will be expanding the network and moving devices to another building which is out of range of copper cables. So the SFP port will be used with Single Mode fiber. I tested the RJ45 ports with non-POE devices and they worked perfectly. The switch is powered by mains AC (110V). I have yet to try the VLAN feature but need to research how to do that using this switch and what it will offer my projects.

I have a stand-alone reolink ip camera and both an indoor and outdoor router that needed POE so I got this POE switch. This is an unmanned switch to is was pretty much plug and play for my devices to work. What I like about this switch is that it has a built in power supply instead of having to find a compatible power brick that can power your connected devices. The switch also has a fiber input or output, this is not something I’m familiar with but I guess it’s nice to have just incase. Overall the switch has been working fine so far, my devices use about 24w of power each and the switch seems to provide it just fine.

The switch works and is able to pass full Gigabit connections. Has 2 SFP uplink ports. Works for a whole home patch bay. Lights to indicate status per port. Server rack mount hangers if you use them. Great general home use switching. Not for the advanced user.

This is a great, no-brainer POE switch for IP cameras if you want your surveillance system isolated from the rest of your network. It is why I ordered it.

This device works really great It was really easy to install. You can hook up every camera you need to and have it all coming to one display. Very happy with how it works. The device itself also seems to be pretty heavy duty, which is a definite, added bonus.

It is nice having two SFP gigabit uplinks for this switch so I dont have to use one or two of its 16 ports for uplink(s). The switch itself can support up to 300W with each port able to deliver up to 30W, however you cannot pull 30W on all ports at the same time. The switch is good for remote security cameras, IoT devices, or other smart devices/computers that use PoE+. It is a large rackmount switch, so would not always be the best choice for home projects unless you have a place to put it.

I ordered this to replace an 8-port POE switch that wasnt capable of powering all of my cameras. This powers them all and also works to connect both of my NVRs, my NAS media server and my color laser printer to my home network. I have it set up in my basement, under the living rooms home theater system. I now have more open ports available for future network devices as well. Couldnt be happier with its performance. 5 Stars from me!

Overall impression: I havent heard of this brand before but glad I tried them. They powered my POE Security camera without any issues. I tried many different IP security cameras including (Swann, Reolink, and Lorex) and they all powered up and was able to be recognized by my NVR system without any issues.

I plugged it in and hooked everything up and it worked. Nothing to do at all other than that. I love it when things work right out of the box.

Great POE Switch for POE camera system or just as a internet switch. Well constructed and easy to use plug and play. Cant go wrong. I recommend to anyone who is using POE camera systems that dont have a enough camera poe ports on their nvr.
