> 3 dayFor small networks unmanaged PoE switches are fine for phones and cameras. This works well. Easy to mount and use. No problem powering up 10 cameras and a phone. Its about time switches started coming down in price and having quality to them.

> 3 dayIm impressed with the Real HD 8 Port Full Gigabit PoE+ Ethernet Network Switch. It has a total budget of 120W and is 48 Volt 803.af 803.at compliant, its compatible with PoE IP Cameras and VOIP Phones. The 2 Gigabit Uplink Ports and the ability to provide up to 30W per PoE Port fully meet my needs. One of the most impressive features is that I no longer need to use a power adapter to power my VoIP phones, as the switch can provide power through the Ethernet cable. I also added two PoE Video Security Cameras to my network, and I used PoE Splitters to connect and power two Security Camera Homebases. The switch handled the added load with ease and provided a stable and reliable connection. I was so impressed with the PoE+ features that I purchased a second Real HD 8 Port Gigabit PoE+ Ethernet Network Switch for my home network. Overall, I would highly recommend this switch to anyone in need of a reliable and high-performing network solution. The PoE feature is an excellent feature for anyone looking to add cameras, phones or other PoE devices to their network without the need of additional power adapters.

> 3 dayI picked this up to replace my mish mash of two 8-port gigabit switches, 8-port PoE 10/100 switch, and a handful of power injectors. I am happy to report that it has done just that, with no issues. I’m using an SFP gigabit Ethernet module for uplink and have the remaining 16 ports powering wireless access points and PoE cameras. Note: the switch does include rack ears, which wasn’t called out on the listing when I looked. Should I encounter any issues with this switch, I will report back.

> 3 dayThis Ethernet switch has PoE support for all ports, is commercial quality, a good value and meets my expectations. Several mounting options are provided including rack mountable. A panel switch easily enables three different configuration modes (VLAN port isolation, link extension, shared network). Im happy with this product and recommend it.

Greater than one weekThis switch has 4 POE 10/100/1000 ports and 2 uplink port (1 RJ45 and 1 SFP). THe SPF uplink means that you can install a fiber adapter and electrically isolate this switch from the rest of your network. The 4 POE ports can be VLAN isolated and can only communicate with the uplink ports. This means that an intruder cannot unhook one of your camera and access the other cameras. Lightweight, fan-less, lightning protected and 65 power budget (30w max per port).

> 3 dayThis POE switch is a great upgrade to my home network. I still might use or find a place for my old switch, but this poe version will go well with a couple of cameras for the exterior. It really simplifies the process of installing said camera by running just a single wire, and not having (another device) dependent on wifi. The switch is plug and play, easy to setup. It is rated at gigabit, which is the max in my area, but might be a consideration for those qho have or will have faster internet available in their area; especially if this is purchased in an effort to futureproof your setup. Definitely recommended!

Greater than one weekThis is a nice gigabit switch that I used to connect a ubiquity AP in order to extend the range of wifi across a large property. It was able to extend my network and maintain the gigabit speed all throughout. The switch comes neatly packed with a warranty card and an instruction manual. It is very well made.

21-11-2024I have a bunch of POE cameras that used to have a hodge-podge of things to power them: a super old NVR, some inline injectors, and a small POE switch. This eliminated all of that mess, and has been working perfectly so far! I even used the SFP port to uplink it to my Ubiquiti dream machine pro.
