> 3 dayIve only been using this POE Switch for a short while, but Im already really impressed. The switch is built like a tank, and its been able to power all of my POE devices with no problems. The throughput speeds are also great, and I have had no lag when streaming video or transferring files. Overall, Im thrilled with this POE Switch. Its a great value for the price, and its perfect for anyone who needs a reliable and powerful POE switch. Here are a few of the things I like about this 16-port POE Switch: Excellent build quality. Plenty of power for connected cameras and devices. Good throughput speeds for POE usage. Affordable price. I have had no problems with this POE Switch so far, but if I do, I will update this review. But for now, I highly recommend it!

> 3 dayGreat POE Switch for POE camera system or just as a internet switch. Well constructed and easy to use plug and play. Cant go wrong. I recommend to anyone who is using POE camera systems that dont have a enough camera poe ports on their nvr.

> 3 dayWorks great for six IP cameras. Three of them have onboard led lights and another is a PTZ. Haven’t had any issues so far with these offbrand switches. I have two of them. Before I had a mess of different poe power modules so I’m glad to finally consolidate everything into one. This was for my home setup.

> 3 day16 Channels with an auto power option for each of them to power any of your devices whether they are security cameras, wireless access points, or raspberry pi’s that operate your smart home! The switch works and is able to pass full Gigabit connections. Has 2 SFP uplink ports. Works for a whole home patch bay. Lights to indicate status per port. Server rack mount hangers if you use them. Great general home use switching. Not for the advanced user.

> 3 dayIve used a number of POE switches over the past couple of years. I bought this as a backup for an older switch. This one is especially well suited for surveillance type networks. With 30W per port (total for switch is 300W), its more than capable of powering the cameras that are installed. It has an internal power supply so theres no power brick just a standard power cord. When I received it, I unboxed the switch to look it over. Its a well made switch. The case is metal and can be used as a desktop system or it can be rack/wall mounted (mounting brackets included in the package). Noise is not an issue as it is fanless. The switch has some nice basic features. 1) It can run in 3 different modes. A standard mode where each device can communicate with every device, a vlan mode where each port can only communicate with the uplink ports and an extended mode in which instead of 100m limits on the length of the cable its extended to 250m but the transmission rate is slowed down to accommodate the extended distance. 2) It has a watchdog function. If a device goes offline, the switch will attempt to restart it. 3) Built in surge protection. 4) 2 1000M uplink ports. What you have to keep in mind is that this is a 10/100MB switch which is fine for cameras, printers and any other devices that have low data bandwidths but would not be suitable for networks with computers.

> 3 dayThis switch feels well built. The metal construction gives it some weight. This is an unmanaged switch with some options that I have not used. It has 2 sfp ports as well as the 16 poe ports. Throughput is gig speed and consistent.

> 3 dayQuiet, finless design, powers, your POE devices, easily without any noise. You can use all four ports, or only two in an extended POE setting, which allows further distances. There’s also a vlan switch to separate the four-ports from talking to each other, only to the uplink ports. Two uplink options exist, a gig copper ethernet port or a gig SFP fiber port. Does not support SFP+ modules. All ports support up to 1Gbps speeds.

> 3 dayPackaging - nice, protected box. No issues. Appearance - clean look, well built. Usage - I do NOT have a use case for PoE, but did need 5 Gbe ports for a streaming video setup. Worked fine…a switch is a switch. Not seeing any issues with packet drops or frames. Value - this is an affordable 8 port solution that has PoE as a bonus. Not particularly ‘smart’…no SNMP, management shell, but not bad. Recommended.

> 3 dayFor small networks unmanaged PoE switches are fine for phones and cameras. This works well. Easy to mount and use. No problem powering up 10 cameras and a phone. Its about time switches started coming down in price and having quality to them.

> 3 dayIve been running this POE switch for over a month on my 4 camera security system. The cameras are Dahua PTZ models that have infrared lights effective up to 150 feet. The PTZ functions and the infrared lights use more electricity than just standard low rez cameras. This switch has been 100% reliable since I installed it. The switch this one replaced could not keep up with the demand of my cameras at night time even though the specs were almost identical. This switch has no problem keeping a strong steady stream back to my router which is about 100 feet away. I like it so much, I ordered a second one to keep for a spare. Great switch at a reasonable price!
