There is the very very rare occasion where my controller connection will drop, and most of the time it picks up automatically after a few seconds but sometimes Ill have to re-pair. A minor inconvenience at beat since it only seems to happen once every few weeks, but 99.8% of the time it works flawlessly. Picks up the controller pretty quickly when you turn it back on, and doesnt seem to add much lag. Just keep in mind that it is fairly bulky, so other bulky cables or adapters next to it might run into clearance issues, but thinner cables should have no issues at all.

I really enjoy this product. This adapter works with most Bluetooth controllers like, PS4/5, Xbox Series Controllers, etc. This also works in handheld mode if you have a USB-A to USB-C adapter. This is a money saver because why buy a controller for that console and only use it on that console if you have multiple controller that are compatible with this adapter. Once again this is a wonderful product and I highly recommend for people who are not comfortable with the Nintendo Pro Controller // Joycons and looking for an in-expensive way to play the Nintendo Switch.

just keep in mind if you plan to use PS5 control you need to update the usb 8bitdo

I saw some people complaining this product was hard to set up, so I was a little worried when I received the product and the instructions on the back of the box was covered with a Amazon sticker. Luckily, set-up is super simple. For anyone confused: 1) Plug in the product to your computer or console 2) Press the tiny button on the bottom of it (the side where the blue light will flash as soon as you plug it in) 3) Then set your controller into pairing mode and hold it close to the adapter. I use the product to connect my Xbox controller to my computer (I use it for rumble to work). As soon as it connects to the adapter my controller vibrates and it starts working in seconds. It stays connected after I turn the controller off too. Great product, does exactly what I need it to do.

I use this on my switch and PC with a new xbox S controller. On initial plug in, I paired by xbox S controller with no problems and my pc immediately recognized it and worked perfectly in PC games. I then took the adapter and plugged into my switch dock (with the proper USB settings in the switch controller menu), and since my xbox controller was already paired to the adapter, the switch also immediately recognized the controller. Amazing product 10/10. I can move the adapter between my switch and PC seamlessly and nothing was required out of the box to get it to work.

Using this to match up a PS5 controller to a switch : This thing works like bluetooth works in TV ads. press the one button, turn on the controller, boom, were good to go. Honestly a blessing, symmetrical sticks + totk feel so much better than joycons.

I bought this to use my Xbox controller on my Xbox. I plugged it in to my Nintendo Switch and held the button for a few seconds. It started flashing and I held the button on my xbox controller for a few seconds to make it flash too. After literally ten minutes it finally connected. Even then there was noticeable input delay and if I ever turned off the Switch or unplugged the a Adapter, I had to wait another ten minutes for it to pair again. I would only recommend if you dont care about these things and have no usable Nintendo controller.

The setup process was quick and easy, and the adapter ensures a lag-free gaming experience. The compatibility is outstanding, allowing me to connect my favorite controllers effortlessly

Does work in my Tesla, but was NOT straight forward.

I bought 2 of these, and have them paired with 8BitDo controllers on my RetroPie. At first I was getting some input lag, but resolved this -- try and give these good line of sight if you are 10+ ft. away from them. Im not getting and lag now that I positioned them better. Much much better than using the built in Bluetooth support of a Raspberry Pi.
