I use this rasp to shape electric guitar bodies, works like a charm. Has a rough side and a finer side for smoothing. I like to use 2 hands though so I recommend putting some painters tape at the very tip to make it easier to hold

Very satisfying to use. Id consider just take some old wood and working some kind of bevel angle or contour into it just as therapy.

This is outstanding. I sent another one to another Carver. It is perfect for my soapstone carving. Excellent product and highly recommend!

Works very well. Would like to have better way to hold the tip, but it does what it was designed to do very well.

I was looking for a new set of rasps and saw this tool on YouTube. This is a well made, versatile rasp. Coarse on one side, medium/finer on the other. Well balanced. The tapered end make working in tight places or small pieces easy. Some say the handle could be larger and I dont disagree when working on large pieces but I just slid a piece of foam tubing and it worked fine. The handle is just fine for all other uses. I plan to buy the other model with a second handle.

This rasp really is nice. It is essentially several saw blades connected together. The coarse side removes material very quickly, and the finer side removes the scratches the coarse side leaves. It is easy to control (although you may want a glove for the hand not grasping the handle), and very sharp. Good quality, great value for the price, works better than any of my other rasps.

Makes short work of removing excess wood. Love that there is a coarse and fine sides.

I love this rasp! Im a bowyer and this makes reducing staves a breeze. One side has coarse teeth and the other has fine teeth. I wish I had come across this rasp years ago. My one and only complaint is that it needs some type of front handle to keep your hand off of the blade.
