> 3 dayI bought this Shinto Rasp saw to work on reshaping a guitar body project. It did the work of phase one shaping perfectly. Easy to use, rapid removal of material and accurate if you are. Be careful using this without gloves and be sure of the cuts you are making as sawdust happens fast.

> 3 dayI wanted to level two 10 wood logs to make stools. I didnt want to use a router/wood wheel and wanted to hand-work it. I tried every rasp (surform, curved surform, planes) and this was the absolute best. The final result is quite smooth and good to sit on.

> 3 dayThis is great for really removing a lot of material, fast. It has a second side for fine tuning the shape. But you still need at least one more rasp for removing all the rasp marks and softening up those roughed out areas.
