> 3 dayI love that this rasp has two different levels of material removal, one side for quick material removal and one for fine tuning - at least, thats how I use it.

> 3 dayUnlike the standard rasp this has a fine and a course side. The open design means it doesnt clog and the teeth are edge to edge so you can get right up to any edges. I generally avoid the need for a rasp due to the standard design but I find myself reaching for this one regularly.

> 3 dayThe quality of construction, combined with the ergonomics and fine/coarse versatility make this rasp superb for woodworking projects such as my axe handle manufacturing. The blades are sharp, the handle and dimensions provide for excellent handing. Together, these features give this tool excellent functionality and enable the user to develop a very consistent and effective technique, touch, and feel. Id buy this again. I do recommend it to friends. Dont hesitate.

> 3 dayThis is great for carving the neck of a guitar. You can use this rasp for the entirety of the project, or I would recommend starting with a belt sander or a spokeshave such as a Stanley 12-951 to shave the mass of it down the quickest, then use this rasp to finish the shape. The Shinto quickly and cleanly shaves wood with much ease and more control.
