Great idea! Will remove wood like a beaver. One side large teeth, other side, not so large. Did not know this tool existed until Paul Sellers put it on his blog. Even if you are an occasional woodworker or just a wood butcher, buy one now! Youll find its a useful tool

I was looking for a new set of rasps and saw this tool on YouTube. This is a well made, versatile rasp. Coarse on one side, medium/finer on the other. Well balanced. The tapered end make working in tight places or small pieces easy. Some say the handle could be larger and I dont disagree when working on large pieces but I just slid a piece of foam tubing and it worked fine. The handle is just fine for all other uses. I plan to buy the other model with a second handle.

This is amazing, it is so easy to use and has replaced many of my tools in the workshop.

Feels good in my hand. Great for wood. Cheese tends to clog it up. JK. does a great job........on wood.

This is the best darned saw Ive ever had! Ive been a woodworker for 40 years and Ive never had a saw that cut so easily and well. Im building a wooden boat now and this saw is indispensable.

I havent used it yet. But, I do a lot of woodworking and it is a great looking tool and I am sure by the reviews it will be an asset in my workshop.

For years I have read on the amazing performance of Shinto rasps, finally I have one now for my workshop.

To echo other reviewers, this thing is a beast for removing material. And the price is hard to beat.
