AC Infinity AIRCOM S9, Quiet Cooling Fan System 17 Top-Exhaust for Receivers, Amps, DVR, AV Cabinet Components

Added to my Sony avr1080 receiver.

Bought this to go on top of my brand new Denon AVR-X3700, because the top would get very warm, an the verge of what I would not be comfortable letting it run at. Denon says its fine, but I didnt feel comfortable leaving it like that in my AV closet. I just put this on top, and set it to smart mode, which was very easy using the included instructions, and not the AVR doesnt even get warm, plus the fan doesnt even go above 25% speed while driving all channels on music, so the noise is basically non-existent. I would absolutely buy another one if I needed one, and would highly recommend it for anyone needing extra cooling

This cooling plate is great. The feature set is much better than you get with ATM or Cool Components, at 1/2 the price (and a much nicer build). Mine as been running for 7 months now, on top of a very hot running Yamaha ZX-9 (one of the hottest running audio receivers ever produced - 130°F on top plate at idle). Also a very dusty environment. Keeps the amp cool and has latest with no issues.

I hate it when people start off their reviews with I really wanted to love this but... Hello? If you didnt want to love it then you wouldnt have bought it in the first place. I dont know anyone who buys something knowing theyre going to hate it.

Absolutely love this unit! It works as intended. I have it sitting on top of my AV receiver and have it set to turn on when the temperature of my receiver reaches the heat threshold. Once the receiver cools down, I have the AIRCOM set to go into standby mode. Three settings allow it to run all the time, standby mode, or variable speed all the time. I highly recommend this to anyone who has an AV ventilation problem in their stand and are worried the heat may damage their equipment.

I havent used it a whole lot yet but when I have its cheaper and better in every way than Cool Components!

My receiver was running over 107 degrees until I put this on top and now its cool to the touch. Very quiet too.

I purchased both T10 and S9 units. Both units share the same chassis but the S9 control panel is elegance personified. In smart mode the system will indicate the fan speed by the circular LEDs that are in the middle of the control panel. 2 additional LEDs tell you whether the unit is in always on, auto or smart mode. In smart mode the fans will ramp up in response to the temperature rise. Shuts off when things cool off. Highly recommended. In the lowest fan speed the S9 is extremely quiet. Even at that lowest fan setting it keeps my receivers cool to the touch.
