> 3 dayThis unit is very well made and is very quiet. I am cooling a Adcom GFA 545 amp with it with no problems. In my situation the front panel of the cooling fan matches the the front of my amplifier perfectly. It truly looks like 1 piece.

> 3 dayI was using laptop coolers but these are constructed more durably and are much more efficient. They have an LED light that tells you what position the fan is in speed wise and can be a distraction however a little dab of electrical tape does the trick.

> 3 dayWe needed an AV cooling solution for our living room entertainment center, which has solid glass front cabinet doors and limited airflow through vented holes in the back. I had previously owned an Antec AV cooler, but after many faithful years of service, it died on me. So, after reading some other Amazon reviews, I bought the AC Infinity AIRCOM S9 for our Denon AVRX4200w on the bottom shelft, and an AIRCOM S7 for the DirecTV DVR and Roku which rest on the shelf above the receiver.

> 3 dayThis has made a tremendous difference in the heat coming out of my Stereo cabint. My Marantz SR7009 was putting out alot of heat, even though the cabinet has glass doors and a couple of holes in the back. When set to auto, the cabinet was signifcantly cooler, and the actual Marantz unit

> 3 dayThis is a fantastic cooler. Totally worth it for the peace of mind! My last receiver cooked itself so I decided it was worth investing in some sort of cooling system. With my last receiver I installed a much cheaper manual switch operated unit in the back of my entertainment center. Yes this allowed me to actively cool the receiver when it was running, however, I often forgot or chose not to run it because the fans were too loud even at the lowest setting. With the AIRCOM S9 I have it set to auto (turns on at 88F/31.1C and runs until the thermocouple reads 84F/28.9C) on the lowest fan setting. It truly does an amazing job, and I NEVER have to worry about it. On the lowest setting I can hear the fans if there is no audio playing, or it is on very low. At normal listening volumes the fans are not audible. Just FYI, this unit is LONG. I have this on top of my DENON AVR S960H and it is much longer than my receiver. Not really a con in my opinion but something to be aware of. I don’t really feel like it is worth it to upgrade to the unit that has the LCD that tells you the temp, unless you were running this in a rack and you wanted to be able to “see” your active temps. This unit would be better if it had a 12V trigger but thats not a dealbreaker for me. I just leave it on all the time to negate having to turn anything off.

Greater than one weekIts only been about a week, but so far it is working excellent. I put it on top of a Denon 6300h which was getting incredibly hot whether I played video games or blue rey movies or just listened to music. I went with auto setting and it comes on and off as needed. I felt the top of the denon avr and with out a doubt it is cooling it. So, without a doubt I recommend it. By the way it fits perfectly and looks great. You hardly know it is there. Very quiet and smooth.
