AC Infinity AIRCOM S9, Quiet Cooling Fan System 17 Top-Exhaust for Receivers, Amps, DVR, AV Cabinet Components

This thing works great. I just upgraded my everything and wanted to try to prevent another blown HDMI board.

Instant solution! My picture and sound cut off after extended use. I changed the HDMI cables thinking they were the problem, which they werent. I found out my Denon receiver was running very hot after extended use. Since the receiver is the heart of my system I felt running it cooler would take care of my problem. I ordered AIRCOM S9, plugged it in, used the default setup, placed it over my receiver and let it do its thing. The AIRCOM S9 did its thing automatically! It kept my Denon so much cooler and the problem is now gone. The fans are so quiet. I will eventually replace my receiver but for sure I will have the AIRCOM S9 an integral part of my entertainment system. Just buy it. It will extend the life of your electronic components and ensure their reliability for years to come.

This is exactly what my set-up needed. My conrad-johnson vacuum tube preamp was running exceedingly hot once it was relocated to an a/v cabinet. I first ordered the AC Infinity 1238 cooling fan but had a mounting space problem. This component fan solved that problem and has additional features that Im thrilled with, such as the Smart Mode function which shuts the fans off once the temperature drops to normal. Additionally, it is quieter than I thought, even at full speed.

Really impressed with this unit ,slim, quiet, and the Smart setting adjusts fan speed automatically. After getting heat warning on my Receiver/Amp I bought this unit and had it in and running in 5 minutes, closed the cabinet door and haven’t had an issue in 2 weeks. Highly recommend for keeping your gear running cool.

Unit fits perfectly on top of my Denon amp, and so far working as advertised. Product packaging was excellent and arrived on time. It is a fairly quiet unit.

Very well built unit. The three speed modes are handy to tailor the desired cooling. At full speed the noise is noticeable, but its more annoying in mode 2 that kicks on at 88F and turns off at 84F. The third mode, my preferred choice, slowly turns on and ramps up and down with the temp. Its very unnoticeable and executes well.

Ive only had it for a few days now but so far so good its slick design on top of the stereo its very quiet the auto feature and temperature sensor are great so its not running as fast as it needs to when the cabinets not hot.

Needed for my AV receiver in a closed cabinet that had shutdown due to thermal protection kicking in(Loud music for a long time). Since installing the S9, no more shutdown even after extensive loud levels. Only concern is that the fan is a bit noisy during quiet movie watching, but not annoying enough-just noticeable. The added protection far outweighs having the receiver shut down. Clean simple interface that just works.
