> 3 dayReally impressed with this unit ,slim, quiet, and the Smart setting adjusts fan speed automatically. After getting heat warning on my Receiver/Amp I bought this unit and had it in and running in 5 minutes, closed the cabinet door and haven’t had an issue in 2 weeks. Highly recommend for keeping your gear running cool.

> 3 dayI have a Krell Evo with heat sinks that get too hot to touch. I believe this limits the lifespan. Given that the amp costs over $7k I was concerned. I put the S9 on top at now the amp is perfectly cool with no audible fan noise.

Greater than one weekHopefully will save my new receiver that runs hot in my cabinet. Nice and quiet. Can set temp to auto and forget about it.

> 3 dayThe cooling fan works as advertised. Set on low you can not hear it. Put a hand over the top and you can feel the heat being sucked out.

> 3 dayI have spent close to a week with it now. I purchased both the S9 and the S6. The HT setup is always running and i have this cooler sitting on an xpa5 from Emotiva. If you run dedicated amps then you all know how warm these things run. No longer the case. The best feature of this product is that its fully automated. Set it and forget it. I have yet to see the coolers run more then a quarter speed the entire time. I was watching Mortal Kombat yesterday and the amps were getting pushed hard on certain scenes. This is an amazing product and like others have mentioned here already built quality, IMO, is above average considering companies really cut corners these days. I had it setup and running in < 5 minutes.

Greater than one weekWorks as advertised. I have (had) a A/V receiver that ran hot when turned up. This item did the trick! Easy to set up. It doesn’t run until the temp gets to, I think, 88. Then it runs until the temp falls to, I think, 84. Very quiet as well.
