> 3 dayI have been impressed with the performance of this little laptop I got for $399. Granted I moved from a HDD to this SDD, which probably accounts for a large percentage of the improved speed I notice, but given the modest price, it has lived up to my expectations and beyond. I will also mention I added 16G Ram to take it to 20G which added a quite a kick, and a second 500G SDD (the drive cady is included in the box), because the one drive on it was only 128G, just not enough for the long haul. There are videos on youtube for A515-46 install procedures, and one of them points out the screwed down board that has to be loosened to install the drive bus, which was the most helpful advice. Ram install is no brainer, but only one slot available, the 4G already there is soldered in. All in all I give it a great rating.

> 3 dayNot touch screen. My cat stepped on it while closed and now I have a part of my screen that occasionally flashes. He sat on it while I was using it and the s-key popped off. Its not a terrible laptop and handles being moved around a lot (I am a college student) just cant handle getting stepped on by obese cats. Overall its a decent work laptop, no room for gaming tho.

> 3 dayThis is a great computer once you get past the growing pains of downloading Windows 11 (or not…) and signing in and updating everything. The fingerprint scanner is a nice touch, and the screen itself is great. I would recommend this to a friend

> 3 dayI was able to do all the things I couldnt on my last laptop. No longer need to sign in after closing the lid, only when I turn it off. I can disable the touch pad so I can type without erasing my work. It has a 1080 HD screen so the games I play are easier to see. I keep my laptop plugged in so I cant speak to battery life. Everything else is so convenient, I dont even mind the Windows 10 too much.

> 3 dayThis computer is only for the most basic of browsing if you dont mind seeing spinning wheels forever and delayed text typing that is so confusing. You can forget Zoom and other video calls. And it crashes several times a day. Dont do it.

19-11-2024I love this laptop! When I was researching laptops, the ACER came up quite a few times with great reviews. I am not one to really judge a product by reviews, but this particular one was coming up time after time, so I took a chance, and boy did I make the RIGHT CHOICE!! It is so light, sleek and fast for me! I am not computer sassy was looking for something I can handle but with added features. Im not going to lie, the price was AMAZING! However, I am learning how to maneuver my way through all the features. I am so HAPPY that I took a chance and purchased it! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!

> 3 dayBought it for my wife. She LOVES it. Smoking fast. Not a lot of memory. But she doesnt need it. (you could always add an external hard drive if you need one.) And the GPU is pretty weak but shes not a gamer. Internet, social media, and her bookkeeping, its great.

> 3 dayI like the fast start up and processing times. Works really well. Dont like the small storage space, will need to look into an upgrade. Dont like the Caps lock key that has no light on it. There is no way to tell if you have the Caps on or off. Maybe there is something broken.
