> 3 dayIm not generally a fan of tech because its so problematic. I bought this device after reading the reviews and after I bought a name brand laptop just 6 months ago that was really bad. Right out of the box this won me over and I never say this. So easy to set up, beautiful screen, nice keyboard, everything syncd well, no complaints at all. Really happy I bought this. I paid quite a bit more than the last laptop and worth it.

> 3 dayThe volume cannot be turned up very high. I used to use the volume on my old laptop at below 50%, and this one the volume is almost always at 100% of often not loud enough at that level. The keyboard is lousy. Im a very good typist and there are always letters that dont type, I have to go back and correct the missing letters. I feel like I need to add an extra keyboard to type on. I would never buy this laptop again.

> 3 dayI dont know if this is just my laptop but the laptop is not symmetrical. The touch pad is not centered so you often click the wrong side of the touch pad. The screen is not centered, it like a few millimeters to the right. You can seee it clearly when its closed. I would return it but already started using it for work.

> 3 dayThe performance is good. Will upgrade RAM to 16GB. Display is very nice. Sound OK. Keypad could have been better. Battery backup is good.

11-06-2025I purchased this laptop for $550 and Im happy with the purchase. I added an additional 8gb of ram and so far its been able to handle anything Ive thrown at it. So far Ive been playing GTA V, Battlefield V and Destiny 2 and have experienced zero lags on default settings. All other productivity tasks have also run smoothly.

> 3 dayEasy setup because I already had a MS account and could transfer software licenses to the ACER. Ditto for security software.

> 3 dayI had an old core i5 laptop which was showing its age. After checking out CPUs, I decided to try AMD and it was an excellent decision! Their 4500U Ryzen 5 chip is fast, doesnt use a ton of juice and works with all of my programs from CAD to Office to games. Granted, its not a heavy gamer but I wanted something for internet work and general use which it does really, really well.
