I have restarted this laptop 3 times now. It keeps freezing. Very frustrating.

I purchased this laptop for $550 and Im happy with the purchase. I added an additional 8gb of ram and so far its been able to handle anything Ive thrown at it. So far Ive been playing GTA V, Battlefield V and Destiny 2 and have experienced zero lags on default settings. All other productivity tasks have also run smoothly.

Bought one and the touchpad failed within a week. Got a replacement and touchpad failed on that one in a month.

For just under $600($560 for the laptop + $30 for an stick of ram), I have a ryzen 5 4500u with 16gb of ram(I put an extra 8 gb stick in mine). This machine is very capable and snappy. I dont care too much about build quality, so the high end cpu for a low price was a no brainer. It can run some games, but dont get your hopes up(platformers and esports titles should fare just fine). Battery life surprised me(5-7 hours of moderate work), and was able to handle 10+ tabs of chrome without breaking a sweat. For working/schooling from home, the 15.6 inch display is nice and crisp, but suffers from a not so bright max brightness(which is livable as long as you arent outside). In addition, acer included the mounting bracket and sata cable so you can add a 2.5 inch ssd whenever you need more storage in your machine. I did have to remove quite a bit of bloat ware, but it didnt take too long. Overall, I am very happy, as the performance is well worth the price, just make sure to buy a second stick of ram for this laptop, as ryzen performs much better in dual channel.

Love this laptop, great price. Only complaint, we just got this 6 days ago and the Bluetooth capability already has to be replaced and no longer works.

Super fast, my son plays all his games on this and there is no lag. Its fast and perfect for him to do all his school work and be able to play his games like Roblox and Steam. Everything loads super fast. This is a great laptop for the money !

Works smooth and efficient. Mostly just surf net for research and work and write papers but I have been very pleased with performance so far!

Bought two of these for my kids to use for the school year. One is working great, but the other started malfunctioning.
