Greater than one weekI bought this computer to watch some YouTube videos, play the occasional video game, sometimes work, and write up some word documents. Not really doing anything crazy, the typical personal computer. I bought this computer in March and about 2 months after purchase I noticed it really struggle to load some content. Wasnt a big deal until about 5 months in when I couldnt do anything else on the computer if I had a YouTube video streaming. I started to use this computer for single functions at a time and it was working ok. Now, about 6 months into owning this laptop I am trying to do some pre recorded online classes for work. Not live, not remote work, just pulling videos off of an online school program. I could not load the video at all. Overall...if you are doing very simple stuff that doesnt require internet access...buy this laptop. If you want a laptop to act how you expect...dont buy this. Dont let the attractive price and the good name of Acer distract you. Many corners were cut when creating the hardware for this computer.

> 3 dayWhen I first opened the banged up box I expected to see a nicely wrapped computer and accessories. The cords looked as if they had been put back in the bags they came in and the bags they came in were crinkled and folded like they had been handled previously. The sleeve that protects the computer was not on the computer neatly folded it looked as if it was re wrapped sloppily and everything put back in the box messy. This makes me feel the box was open already. If it had just been opened for upgrading they did not take care in re packing the box. Some of the documentation wasn’t in its protective bag And it was all messy. No bubble wrap was used when shipping it which means the computer was banging around in the bigger box it came in. 600 is too much to pay to be concerned about it being broken and open before o even had a chance to use it myself. It is very lightweight and the graphics just look choppy (especially around the edges of the fonts, almost like pixilation was showing) The picture quality was disappointing (I have had computers since 1996 so have a lot to compare with. It just looked like some of the colours were missing. I played around with don’t and picture settings to see if I could change it yet I couldn’t. My older hp laptop I wanted to replace is much better than this one. It’s so light weight and plastic feeling (even the plug) it just felt as if it was a child’s toy. I still had hope because I didn’t want to return but within 5-10 minutes the fan came on really loud. Since I work online and in zoom, this would be very distracting and disruptive. I am going to pick a computer out in person now, so I can be sure of what I am getting or may just stick with hp. I had an acre way back when that didn’t last long yet I thought they may have improved by now. Someone else might not mind all those things yet from the time I saw the computer was packed with no protection bouncing around in a bigger box I thought it could have caused internal damage and I could never feel good about it. I need this for work but I have to return as I cannot afford to not be the best I can for work and this will not do the job.

> 3 dayIt’s really well made. Fast, great graphics, nice bright and large screen. I like the light up keyboard. No more whirring noises from the hard drive spinning. I’m very happy I decided to buy it..

> 3 daySo far so good. Although, the laptop came with the mousepad disabled or I could of pressed the button on accident. I messaged the seller right away and they suggested I return it. When I requested a return, then someone emailed me giving me options and assistance on what it could be. Which was a super help, as it was a press of a button. I cancelled my return and thank god because I really needed the computer to be able to telework. It would of be an headache to return and wait for another one. The laptop is super light. Love the big screen and lighted keyboard. It’s not touchscreen. And I don’t game, so I wouldn’t know about that.

> 3 dayWanted a machine for email, browsing, and watching videos over wi-fi. This fits the bill perfectly, and at a price that doesnt empty the piggy bank. I recommend this product.

Greater than one weekIve had it a little over 6 months and the screen casing is already falling apart at the joint where it opens and closes. I hope the screen isnt completely broken in another 6 months.
