Purchased this for my middle school child. Not really into gaming or anything like that. So the processor and graphics card are specd right for this. Order came very quickly, especially prior to the holidays.

Great product, but the battery isnt all that great, especially if you dont know how to upgrade things like me. However, thats a small complaint compared to the rest. Im satisfied.

Curser never worked. Cant rate anything if it cant be used. I gave it as a gift and wasnt told about the problem until the return window was closed. Would not buy Acer brand again.

Love my new Acer laptop...I ordered it to replace a 10-yr old Sony Vaio, and this Acer is so light, snappy, energy-efficient, affordable, and upgradeable. I also ordered a Crucial 8GB DDR4 2400 SODIMM RAM stick to pop in and get the dual channel memory upgrade. The RAM stick was very easy to install, and the laptop automatically recognized it.

Ok, I have two little issues with this laptop (Acer Aspire 5 with Ryzen 5 4500U - 8gb ddr4 ram). The first one is that... You can add 8gb ddr4 for a total of (almost) 16gb ram, and it would work on dual channel (great) BUT, there is only a empty slot for ram, the other one is soldered to the motherboard, so, in order to keep the dual channel working, the max capability of ram you will have is 16gb, that, in MY experience, is the minimum recommended . I mean, there are cheaper models that have both modifiable memory slots, but they DECIDED to do it this way... Why? I do not know.

The volume cannot be turned up very high. I used to use the volume on my old laptop at below 50%, and this one the volume is almost always at 100% of often not loud enough at that level. The keyboard is lousy. Im a very good typist and there are always letters that dont type, I have to go back and correct the missing letters. I feel like I need to add an extra keyboard to type on. I would never buy this laptop again.

Good value for the price in a beginner computer.

Super fast, my son plays all his games on this and there is no lag. Its fast and perfect for him to do all his school work and be able to play his games like Roblox and Steam. Everything loads super fast. This is a great laptop for the money !

My previous computer was a 2008 MacBook, so I guess I would be impressed with most new computers. However, I like how the keyboard is laid out and the action on the keys. Having a backlit keyboard is helpful in dark rooms as well. I would recommend this computer. Its easy to set up and get started right out of the box. I bought this from Amazon after doing a lot of research on other computers, and I am happy that I bought this one

If youre gonna try to use this thing for college dont. The battery life is very underwhelming and only lasts 5 hours(As Specified). However I just dont see it being enough for an all day type of thing. If you are gonna buy something and need to use it all day ide suggest saving a lil more. Also the trackpad sometimes moves the pointer as I click which is annoying and palm rejection is pretty much not there.
