Easy setup because I already had a MS account and could transfer software licenses to the ACER. Ditto for security software.

I bought this computer for my daughter to do online school, and it has been extremely unreliable. First, the charger constantly disconnects and reconnects and now does not charge at all. This computer loses the internet connection several times during my daughters remote classes (it does not happen when she uses my computer). I called Acer customer service, and I have to send my daughters computer to Texas to get it fixed, which will take about three weeks. They pay for shipping but do not provide any boxes or packing materials. They make it as inconvenient as possible. I bought an Acer for my daughter because I have one (bought in 2016) and it has been a great computer. The quality of Acer computers has decreased drastically. SAD!!!! Last Acer I purchase.

Bought two of these for my kids to use for the school year. One is working great, but the other started malfunctioning.

Product is worthy but the problem is Amazons return policy. I am on day 5 and was just promised I would receive a refund on day 7. Business day 7. Do they really need the interest on my money that badly?

if your a gamer than it is not the best since it would get laggy if talking on discord w/ friends and playing. it also is very laggy with google meet. so running multiple programs at once is not suggested from my side. though over all it serves its purpose and is very good.

It Maybe a little pricy but Great laptop

Actually a little more than I expected once you get into its capabilities, and its easy and cheap to upgrade.

I had the computer for 3 months (just past the return date) when the screen broke. I have never dropped the computer or stepped on it or set something on it, nothing that should cause the screen to break. Acer then tells me it probably wont be covered under warranty (even though Ive had the computer only 3 months), and that it might cost up to $300 for repair (for a $500 computer...) I made it clear that I would under no circumstances pay that amount of money, but was told I could send it in anyway for diagnosis and that they would call me before repairing anything if the repairs would cost me money. I send it in and I hear nothing back. One week later I get it back with a slip of paper that declares charges are covered under the warranty. One week after that I receive a $300 charge on my credit card...Called Acer to dispute this; and even though they admitted to promising me that they would not charge me unless they called and verified I wanted the charges/repairs (which I did not), they still wont return my money. Long story short, dont buy from Acer.

Im not generally a fan of tech because its so problematic. I bought this device after reading the reviews and after I bought a name brand laptop just 6 months ago that was really bad. Right out of the box this won me over and I never say this. So easy to set up, beautiful screen, nice keyboard, everything syncd well, no complaints at all. Really happy I bought this. I paid quite a bit more than the last laptop and worth it.
