> 3 dayI was given this Chromebook because my son fell in love with the other Chromebook I had from Toshiba. This Chromebook is useful for most of the things I currently do with a laptop. I also have a MacBook Pro and, honestly, nowadays I only use to access my Endnote library and statistical programs. For the rest, I only need to open my Chromebook. It starts up immediately, has anti-glare display and the battery lasts for at least full 8 hours. I have watched 3-4 movies in a row (during those lazy days) with a single charge. Simply love it. Gave another one to my daughter in Christmas. It has the advantages of the Chrome OS environment, including security, seamless updates, parental controls and full integration with the Google platform. This particular Chromebook has an excellent brushed-aluminum finish that makes it an elegant device. I simply love it. I am fully adapted to working with cloud-based systems now and Chromebooks fulfill almost all my computer needs.

> 3 dayMy wife absolutely loves this thing. Shes not a power user and she wanted a 1500 dollar apple laptop. I bought this for her to just try out and now its her new favorite device and uses it all the time. Money well spent.

> 3 dayIts a great looking Chromebook. The gold is a nice color. The obnoxious part of this computer is that most of the case edges are razor sharp. I have been working with it continuously to try to burnished the edges with a diamond hone. I have managed to tame down the problem, BUT REALLY, why am I having to finish the manufacturing process. Also have dropped it and the entire corner collapsed. Had to do some major bending to get it back into place.

> 3 dayThis Chromebook is easy to use, boot up quickly but it does occasionally crash and a push of the on/off button will quickly reset it. I also found out HP has a printer app in the Chrome Store that will allow printing directly from the Chromebook to any HP printers that hooked up to the same network (I think that means you can connect the Chromebook to the printer via USB). The Chromebook is quite ideal for those who use their computer mostly for surfing the Internet. It is also much cheaper than a laptop computer with similar hardware.

> 3 daywhen I purchased my Chromebook, I did not know it will not update after 5 years. I checked the mfg. date on the back of it and it was made 3 years before I bought it new. so it was good for 2 years. I checked and found this to be true with ALL chromebooks, no update after the 5 year mark. a good way to stack up the greenhouse gases and the trash dump.
