Acer Chromebook 14, Aluminum, 14-inch Full HD, Intel Celeron N3160, 4GB LPDDR3, 32GB, Chrome, Gold, CB3-431-C0AK

I was leery about buying this because I thought it was too good to be true. Also, it seemed to have already been out a while judging by the dates from the other reviews. I currently am a graduate student and also work from home. The software I use at work is a pretty heavy database and my surface 3 couldnt handle it. I need something fast, but also slim and cool enough to use in my lap in bed, in public, and wherever else I may need it. I also own a gaming laptop with an i7, 12 gigs of ram, and a solid-state drive as my primary computer. Because of Googles efficient OS, this computer nearly matches it in speed and performance when surfing the web and using my companys software. I am currently writing this review with 12 other tabs open and its powering through just fine. Ive currently got my graduate schools website open, a PDF, my works software, as well as 3 facebook tabs.

This is a must for any college student! I loved how easy it was to carry from class to class. It had everything online which you dont have to worry nothing will get lost!

Crome Crashes sometimes when Im watching YouTube then restarts itself. Cant do a lot of things a windows can do

If anyone knows how to get the keyboard working in Linux, please reply or post link. This Chromebook is sharp, and I was able to connect it to both an external monitor and a tv at 1080p. Its snappy too. I highly recommend it (unless you are loading Linux). Linux Mint 18 Sarah.

Bought it as a gold color. Definitely is more rose gold than traditional gold. Slightly disappointed about that. Otherwise, exactly what I hoped it would be.

I really like the HD quality and keyboard on this chromebook. However, the 12 hour battery life thing is false. I can usually geetbetween 5-6 hours on it; closer to 7 if I wait until it completely dies.

Ive been using this laptop for close to a month now and I cant believe that a laptop at this price point is not just functional, but also design-wise, a beauty to look at.

We bought this as a Christmas gift for our daughter, thinking it would be enough to last our daughter through all the high school papers she would have to write. It has been running slow for months and just died this week. It wont boot up -- no lights indicating that its even getting power when plugged in. We wont buy Acer again.

Really nice quality. It is a chromebook, so the features are perfect for students just needing to research or surf the web. Doesnt have backlit keyboard, but no chromebook does. The battery life is crazy long and the screen quality is fire.

es muy fácil de usar, y aprendes sus atajos conforme la vas usando, quizás es más la situación personal de cambiar tu mentalidad de que no estas usando una lap con windows si no un nuevo sistema operativo, vale lo que pagas por ella, lo súper rescatable es la velocidad del equipo.
