This is the most perfect, gorgeous laptop ever made for any price. Luscious gold aluminum casing, super fast Chrome OS, perfect ergonomic keyboard, smooth touchpad, big bright screen. I love this machine, and Im a past owner of many PCs, Macs, and other Chromebooks. Heck, I even owned an Osborne once.

Super fast boot up and easy set up. Love the gold finish. Size and weight are perfect for staying mobile. For those new to Chromebooks, theres an easy to read and follow instructions and videos under Help. Battery life has been very good. Youll want to be a Google or chrome fan to get the most out of this. Acer makes a good unit too. I have an Acer from 2011 that still runs like new.

I absolutely love this laptop except Im not very familiar with chromebook other than that its a very reliable computer...

Me encontraba realizando trabajos de la universidad y necesitaba una nueva laptop, no estan dispuesto a pagar mucho, y la verdad al ver reseñas busqué y me encontré con esta opción, no se imaginan lo buena que esta computadora, es una computadora con muy poco espacio de memoria en ella, por lo mismo que es una chromebook, desde que la tengo, llega a ser innecesario comprar otra computadora, si no la necesitas para renderizar o trabajos muy pesados, y solo necesitas investigar crear documentos, etc, es una computadora ideal, en serio.

Trying to use even an extremely simple Google Sheets document is laborious. The speed is glacial. Given the price I suppose I should have known what I was getting into, but Chromebook functionality is already extremely limited and to be all but unable to use one of Googles basic functions is unacceptable.

This Acer blew my expectations away. I am extremely happy with how this Acer operates and how smooth it is. It is also extremely fast compared to my old Dell laptop. I went to Best Buy and looked around and played with a few other options they had and this definitely seemed to be the winner. The reason I got this on amazon though was due to the fact this Acer came with more option and the rose gold color was a plus. I got the Rose Gold but I was kind of skeptical of the color. However when I opened it up though, I was completely in love with how it looked and it wasnt too gody of a color. I would definitely recommend this computer to somebody who wants a good reliable laptop for the price as long as they arent doing anything crazy on it like programming or something. It is an easy to use computer for every day tasks such as looking up things on the web to typing out pages of homework.

Im a fan of chromebooks and this one is a great representative of the genre.

This Chromebook has all the ingredients to be a winner, but one fatal flaw continues to hamper its performance. Despite me doing everything Ive read to prevent random restarts (including but not limited to removing all extensions, clean install, factory reset, browser reset, etc.) it continues to happen. There is no pattern, it will go days without issue then do it multiple times in one day.

To begin with, I knew going in that I was getting an android operating system that would not have all the functionality of Windows, especially MS Word. I have a 13 inch Win10 HP Spit with an i3 processor and so that is my comparison. My objectives for this laptop were:

For the price. The computor looks great! Only problem is, the computor is slower than other computors. The fps for some things is horrible.
