> 3 dayI bought this for $209 and is the best deal you will find for all the features you get with it. Comes with display port, which is extremely hard to find at this price and of course freesync (just make sure your CPU is compatible with freesync, otherwise this is useless). Runs great at 144hz and there is no input lag whatsoever. The main complaint i see about this monitor is that the colors come washed out, but personally I think the picture looks fine. The picture isnt anything to brag about but the way people exaggerate it makes it seem like the worst monitor on the market. PROS: Excellent value Freesync Display port (comes with cable) Base is amazing! Heavy and stable. Raises up high, tilts far enough and has a great swivel. CONS: some people would say washed out colors but I havent seen this to be an issue. Picture out of the box looks fine IMO.

> 3 dayMonitor has a good refresh rate but has issues with G-sync, specifically stuttering; hasnt had issue on other displays, unsure if its due to issues w/ drivers, settings on monitor/PC, etc. Color leaves a lot to be desired.

> 3 dayThese monitors are really very nice for $199. I bought 2 to set up on either side of my (also Acer) Predator 144Hz 35in monitor. I set them both up vertically to multitask and do home network monitoring. The fact that these cant rotate either direction sort of bothers me, as Id love to do some more in depth cable managing. Finding a good angle on the right monitor is a bit tough, but is doable. Colors are super washed when first set up, 10 minutes of tinkering made a world of difference. All in all, for $200 a pop, these are a great deal. I cant speak for longevity, but they feel and look pretty premium. The stands they come with are superb and adjustable to almost the max. I just wish they could tilt either way, and not just to the left.

> 3 dayUPDATE (Most Recent): Ive had the monitor for about a month now since the last update. The issue was fixed by completely unplugging my tower and monitor and just leaving them over night. Ive learned to avoid the issue by preventing the computer from going to sleep since Ive read that DP has some issues with waking up from sleep mode which is what I think caused my original issue. Occasionally Ill get the No Signal issue again and its usually fixed by just powering down my tower completely and then restarting it. UPDATE (old): Writing this a few days after my original review, my monitor is having issues getting signal over DP. Windows recognizes the monitor but the monitor shows No Signal when I try to turn it on. the HDMI and DVI inputs work perfectly fine but they dont do 144hz, which is what I bought this monitor for. Considering returning or selling this monitor. This is an affordable option for those looking for a 1080p 144 Hz monitor. I use it for both content creation work and just general gaming and its been awesome. Visuals seem crisp, colors are pretty good, and overall Im really happy with it. Out of the box the monitor is EXTREMELY bright. Like you could light a room with just this monitor. I have my brightness set to 0 in the settings and that feels significantly better to look at for long periods of time. As one could expect the built in speakers arent anything great, but Im incredibly pleased that Acer included an audio out port (3.5mm) on the monitor so you can take the audio from the HDMI or DP inputs and send them to your own speakers. The monitor has a button to activate Game Mode which seems to put some sort of sharpen filter on the screen and I have a feeling it plays a little bit with the colors as well. It also puts an FPS counter in the top right corner but that counter was a constant 144, even when I limited my framerate in games to 60 fps just to test it out so the counter isnt too useful and ultimately I think the Game Mode in general is a pain because of that sharpen filter especially. If you switch to Game Mode and then back to regular mode keep in mind that your monitor settings get reverted back to default, this includes color and brightness. Avoid the Game Mode button and this is a non-issue.

> 3 dayI have had this monitor for about a week now and I have to say this thing is great. I am using it for ps4 as of right now because I plan to get a pc in the future. Yes I know that 144hz isnt compatible with a console but as of right now this is all I have. Im mostly playing fortnite at the moment but I tested it out on other games and I literally just realized that there is a slight ghosting. Its nothing noticable at all but I was spaced out staring at my character while spinning and I saw like a small shadow or “ghosting” effect coming off his arm. Like i said nothing to worry about as I am guessing this wont happen on 144hz cause its a faster refresh rate and will be a ton smoother. I am just curious if anyone has this issue on theirs as well? This super unoticable ghosting is no reason why you should not get the monitor unless you notice a lot

> 3 dayColor is awesome, runs smoothly. I use it on my laptop for playing Valorant and it runs much better than my screen. I get 150+ fps and 144-165 hz.

> 3 dayFor context, I now own two of these monitors, and these are my first. I bought the first one back in May 2019 for my PS4 and Switch (I game a lot), and the second in October after building a PC. I originally loved keeping the 1ms response time I was accustomed to on my TV for under $200 (at the time of writing it is $169.99), and was fine with the display and picture quality (though it took some time to get used to the smaller screen compared to my 60in TV). The monitor has settings to change colors and what not and also features a Game Mode that I suspect is the Acer EyeProtect’s Flicker-less, Blue Light Filter, ComfyView and Low-dimming technology mode. But the real change came in September when I built my first PC and connected it to this monitor. Playing with 144hz does make a real difference when playing, allowing you to see things come in focus much quicker than the 60hz I was used to, and the 1ms response time feels amazing for those accustomed to 3ms or more. It does get bright and may hurt when gaming for 8 hour prolonged sessions, but you can turn on Game Mode or dim the lights through settings. Plus, the fact that its adjustable is great, allowing it to adjust to a proper height or angle. My buddy, who still plays with a PS4, got one after I recommended it for his short desk setup, and adjusting it so it was facing him was a huge bonus for him. And for the price point its a welcome addition. Overall, solid monitor for under $200 and these have been great starter monitors for PC gaming for me.

Greater than one weekI purchased this product back in 2017 and it has served me well for intensive fps games. I can’t judge its color options as I am not very color picky, my main concern was always just the 144hz refresh rate. Unfortunately, I just experienced my first dead pixel 3 years and 2 months after purchase (out of warranty). Overall it’s a decent beginner’s gaming monitor, just don’t expect it to outlive your computer.

> 3 dayFor starters, the monitor itself along with the bezel is much thicker than I thought. The monitor has built in speakers but they are essentially useless as the quality is so poor and they give off an annoying hiss. Im not sure if its the monitors fault but I should note that the gsync seems incredibly inconsistent giving performance boosts in some games and performance hits in others. Lastly, my biggest issue was the half hour of tinkering I had to do with the display settings in order to make the display not look blurry, dried and gray. To the monitors credit once I got the colors and sharpness where I wanted them, gaming was actually very enjoyable and the bezel disappeared into the background better than I thought. The pivots and swivels are very smooth and satisfying to adjust and can help maintain proper posture for those who struggle with posture while sitting. There is also hardly any if any back pannel light bleed. Which was an issue on my previous viotek monitor, so this monitor definitely wont be emitting any seemingly unnecessary light bleed. Some settings that made the image and display quality improve: swapping out of the preset color temp immediately brings more color and less gray. Super sharpening severely decreases the blurriness and brings a much more crisp image. The user color profile is aslo very balanced and neutral. And lastly slightly decreasing the black levels make darks and blues much more crisp and natural, taking a lot of gray out.

> 3 dayI bought this monitor back in 2019 december so its just been about 3 years. I am still using it as I speak and its been an awesome monitor. No dead pixels or anything, the only thing that has bugged me with this monitor is a group of atleast 2 or 3 stuck pixels that will be on my screen but to fix it all I do is barely push on my monitor where the pixel is and it goes away for a while, itll come back in weeks to months later but its not a huge deal to me, still a great monitor for the price.
