Screen: beautiful, bright, and obviously 144Hz.

Laptop has already been sent back twice for repairs with 4 parts being replaced including both fans, motherboard, thermal paste and speakers. It gets the job done for playing fortnight on lower settings, but I wouldn’t push it with anything more detail then that. Not worth the price or the hassle of acer support.

At first I liked this laptop as the specs looked good on paper, but when I finally got around to gaming on it, I noticed that it draws power from the battery even while plugged in, and if you play long enough to draw the battery down, it shuts down without a warning. I first noticed the battery draw while plugged in when using the VR headset and figured it was Normal due to the sets power requirements. I also noticed it again while playing Assassins Creed, though I never played long enough for it to completely drain the battery, only a couple of hours. But when I finally got around to playing The Long Dark tonight, it shut off on me after only 4 hours due to its faulty design of draining the battery while plugged in (power supply not good enough). Please choose a different laptop. What good are the specs if you cant use it.

I dislike this laptop. I git it new and after first boot and windows instalation it had a problem with keyboard backlight not working. I spoke with acer support and none of the fixes worked which means device wasa defected. Windows got updated and after restart windows entered bootloop. Also some program windows were blury and battery life is terible.

Good for game but not for other purposes it’s too heavy

Every single time I am playing a game the FPS just drop I don’t know what to do, and it gets too hot

It’s fast and the processing is smooth, could only make one thing better is the battery life and it would be a perfect laptop

The computer just kept shutting off randomly every time I gamed... Super unfortunate cause I really enjoyed the computer but ended up returning gonna try a different brand. :(

lets start at the begin out of the box this laptop WAS amazing, tho it had thermal problems. My buddy and i bought the same exact laptop form amazon. We were hanging out and we both pressed the purchase button at the exact same time. Upon attempting to replace the thermal past (to possibly achieve better thermals) my buddys laptop had a THERMAL PAD over the gpu AND PAST and we noticed that both of our heat sink fans were missing several screws . Witch is sketchy on acres part. I am now battling customer service trying to get a replacement cable for this laptop i have been sending them multiple emails over the past month but to no avail. Today my buddy had issues with the rel tech audio drivers so he did the usual uninstall and reinstall of the drivers but this has ended up Screwing up his laptop with all of his system restore points being unreachable. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE BUY THIS LAPTOP and god forbid you have a part fail. I initially thought ACER was better than this. Acer will not catch me buying there product ever again. This has been by far the WORST laptop i have ever dealt with in my entire life. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you to go buy a Dell, MSI or EVGA laptop there are more but thats all i will list. As i have previously dealt with MSI customer support and they replied back to me that same day with a fix. ( Note this is not amazons fault amazon has nothing to do with how Acer makes there products or Acers crappy customer support) Acer and there HELIOS PREDATOR 300 are the worst. Dont wast your money !!!!!!!!
