This laptop is really quite good. The performance is incredible for the price and the build quality is better than what I expected by a far margin. I first learned about this laptop after watching a video by Dave Lee, and to me, it looked really cheap, but he said that the performance was really good, and thats what mattered to me. When it did arrive, however, the build did not feel cheap. The whole thing is made with solid aluminum and the construction feels solid. During Daves review, he mentioned that the screen was really bad. However, after receiving mine, although the screen had bad viewing angles, it was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. In Daves video, he mentioned the biggest selling point to me, which was the performance. And after using it on some games, I can say for sure that his assessment was very true. I can run games like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice at playable fps (30-50 in my estimation) at all times. You do have to turn down the graphics, but for the price, its a miracle it can run at all. Less demanding games, such as Valorant, can be run at 110-150 fps. I have never dropped below 100 fps at medium graphics in Valorant. The keyboard is probably the best laptop keyboard I have ever used. The keys feel nice overall and there is a wide variety of function keys. The trackpad, as Dave mentioned, is made of plastic, but it does feel nice and the click is nice and satisfying. If there is one thing that I wish this laptop had, I wish it had one more USB Type-A port. However, the port selection is actually very decent and most people shouldnt need more than the included ports. In conclusion, if you are debating buying this laptop, I say you should go with it. For the price, there are few that can match it.

literally the best laptop for this price. I dont know how Acer can put all these hardware in this laptop and its still $650. we are getting well over $1000 worth of hardware in this laptop. and it has great battery life. great laptop for everyone especially students cuz it can play light games as well. people say the screen is dim but i havent seen it has a problem at all.

The charger that is required for this laptop has a tiny pin that constantly breaks/bends. I was finally able to replace it and now when I plug in the pin theres a visible spark and crackling noise. I called Acer support and was told that I am one month outside of the 1-year warranty and nothing can be done. Ive paid almost $700 for a laptop that I was only able to use for one year! The charger issue is reported in multiple Acer forums. The speaker is also TERRIBLE. Dont waste your money.

5 issues in the first week of usage...Returning it

I have a 6-year acer and now I replace it with this one. AMD processor is amazing. The speed is incredibly high especially for those who like to open 50+ tab on browser. It is much faster than my MBP 2018. Highly recommend it!

Love it! I play games like far cry 5 and grand theft auto 5 so the performance is great, the speakers are great, the display is good, and it is really lightweight

I was pleased to find the Acer had less crapware than some companies stuff into their laptop. The machine works well for the note-taking and internet browsing. Good economy laptop well made. The mouse pad is different not bad but requires a little thought to use.

I really wanted to like this laptop. Unfortunately, while its specs sound great, its way too unreliable. Some of the issues are minor like the fingerprint sensor working less than 10% of the time to more frustrating, typical behavior like freezing up on boot up or taking several minutes to cycle up, memory slow to respond so the cursor skips, etc.
