Laptop is stone dead just went black. No prior indication of anything wrong, not even a blue screen.

So far so good. Just bought it so not much to say except well built and fast loading. Will add more as time goes on

This will be the last Acer I purchase. It broke after 3 weeks and is being returned to the manufacturer. It will not charge. Hot plugs, battery reset, and new charging cable tried. It was registered for its warranty but the site cannot locate its SN for service. The Acer site is full of dead links. Special tools are needed to remove the battery for further troubleshooting but I don’t have time to fix their broken product. This is absolutely shameful.

Ive used several different Windows laptops, and found the Acer Swift 3 to be kind of in the high middle of the pack in terms of its features and performance overall. Here are some pros and cons:

So.... it is purple. My 220 lb college son who I bought this for was kinda weirded out by the color, but super grateful anyway because thats what kind of kid he is. We talked about maybe some manly stickers or something. ZZTOPs Cadillac was purple and that thing was awesome! Other than that great computer and should be awesome for college.

it claims 11.5 hour battery life........ mine last MAYBE 2 hours. and i am a student so this is horrible

Keyboard is silver on silver and Vèry hard to see. It illuminates so its fine in dark environment but in light of day not so much. Frustrating.

Dull display. But I am happy with my purchase.

I have no complaints with this laptop. I was surprised at just how fast it really is. For movies you will need a separate speaker, headphones or earbuds but I expected that. Boot up time is about ten seconds total, the video when streaming is outstanding
