i want to like this laptop, but im on my second one now and im not sure ill be keeping this one either. the specs are good enough for a $500ish slim machine, and ive yet to attempt a task it cant easily handle. but the issues im having are just kinda deal-breakers.

I am really pleased with this purchase. The computer is very Swift like its name says. My previous computer had 8 RAM like this one but only 1.8 GHZ and so sharing my screen during MS Teams / Zoom meetings the screen would often freeze up due to the low processing power (I have plenty of WiFi bandwith).

I have always liked smaller, more compact laptops with 14 screens so when I was doing my research for a replacement for my 6 year old Asus laptop with Windows 8, I found this one. The specs looked solid as I wanted a SSD and the online reviews suggested it was a good value. It was easy to get started and not a ton of bloatware to remove. Im getting it all set up with my files and so far, its been working great. Im hopeful it will last for many years to come and offer me the performance increase and battery life I am looking for over my old laptop.

I was pleasantly surprised that this tiny thing could run video games in 1080p. I’ve only played the revamped resident evil 2, but that game runs flawlessly and looks amazing. Another plus is the boot time is basically immediate. I’m no gamer though, so there is that.

Only complaint is the delivery. No signature required. My package had high chances of being stolen. Its an expensive purchase so I thought signature on delivery was automatic. So make sure you mention it on the description.

I bought this laptop for myself after Christmas of 2020 and worked great for about a year. Then I ran into the issue of when it completely dies or turns off it doesn’t turn back on. I bought serval chargers thinking the charger had broke because it wouldn’t boot back up from dieing. This was not the case, as a student I was without a laptop for 4 days because nothing I did would make it turn on. Eventually I just left it on the charger for several days and went and tried to turn it on and turned on. It worked fine for a couple days then the same thing happened again, battery completely dies and won’t boot back up. I came to the conclusion of if the computer turns off or completely die it doesn’t turn back on. In order to keep using for the last year, I set it to never go to sleep and I never take it off the charger. This is less than ideal for a student.

This was a great addition to the computer network for our medical practice. The keyboard is a bit small, so those with big hands may have an adjustment period. But the staff likes it. It is fast and easily portable. Good choice for us.
