Ive had this laptop for 2 months now. The touchpad randomly stopped working 2-3 weeks ago, but I prefer a mouse anyways so it wasnt a HUGE deal. Then about 2 weeks ago, my screen started freezing. At first, itd last a minute or two. Now, everyday or couple days, it tends to freeze for about 5-7 minutes. It always works again, but I really just hope it doesnt die on me.. Otherwise, it works pretty well for the price value :)

I REALLY wanted to like this netbook. It had good specs, a decent enough screen, lightweight, keyboard was fine, good sized hard drive.

The best laptop Ive owned by far. Everything thats there just works. The R7 is a beast and in light tasks, the fan doesnt even need to come on. The frame is rigid and metal. Keyboard backlight is even adjustable (in well-designed, simple settings). Theres no gimmicks, and everything thats there just works. Id gladly buy future versions, or a touchscreen version. They should even make this ultrathin bezel into a 17 inch.

I absolutely loved this laptop right out the box, but I wanted to wait a couple days after getting it before writing a review to make sure it was genuine and I still rate it 5 stars! I don’t know a lot about computers like many other people in the reviews, so this will be from the perspective of an average person :)

Delivered on time at door with notice, great job Amazon Logistics. The laptop has a super easy set up process and takes full advantage of Alexa. I got this for work, it seems it would be ideal for a student. Good video, decent on board sound, better sound on bluetooth. Bloated software is a minor thing. Its solid but not a rugged super sturdy build, I got the added protection plan, which is not too bad amortized over 4 years. Decent camera and audio for Zoom conferences, quite serviceable. The compact and lightweight are key for me but the speed and adaptability flash forth. the illuminated keyboard is nice, it goes dark to save battery. I have not tried the 11 hour, I slid the marker to the better performance, but, I would say it is good for a full morning to afternoon gig sans juice. Thats nice.

I will get the bad out of the way. The Power button should not be where the Delete key belongs! I have accidentally pushed the power button so many times trying to press delete. On this laptop Acer put the power button in the corner of the keyboard just like any other key. Im so used to having the delete key at the top right that I naturally go there. The power shape and size is just like the delete key next to it. This is a big usability error. Otherwise the only bad thing is not having an included SD Card reader.
