For the price this is a great computer with plenty of performance for everything but gaming. The only two things I do not like about it are:

I did not purchase the touchscreen model as I like to project to a high quality 27in Led monitor to take advantage of the graphics. First let me address the Ryzen CPU quality, being a lifelong intel cpu user I found the Ryzen 7 a great alternative at a much lower cost vs a intel i7 10th gen series. I did not experience any lagging in the overall performance and having multiple applications and having several browsers & open tabs did not effect functionality. This specific laptop is leaps and bounds a big improvement in Acers development strategy in regaining some of the marketshare it lost when attempting to compete with the more prevalent big names whose evolution to adapt to newer technology left Acer in the dust. Well they have risen to the challenge quite nicely and this specific build and price point make it an exceptional value that I can highly recommend to any level of user. I use to laptop like a business laptop so always on throughout the standard operating hours and some after hours stuff. When attempting to relay any cons about the laptop I cannot but I am not a gamer so as far as that aspect you would need the opinion of an avid gamer. All in all a great experience.

Everything about the laptop is great except that it arrived with a broken keycap. The cap was sticking and clicking, so I gently pried it off and noticed that one of the brackets that attached it to the keyboard was partially broken. I swapped it with a non-broken cap and that fixed the issue. However, when I spoke to Acer through live chat I was told that the keycap was NOT covered by the warranty and was offered the part number so that I can order it myself. This is absolutely absurd.

Ill start by saying I love the battery life with this computer. It totally lasts an impressive 7 hours more or less. Mobility is easier with its solid, light weight feel. I wasnt sure using a smaller screen & keyboard, but I adapted just fine. The speed and function is great for my use- allot of research , stream movies and manage photos and music library. Have been video conferencing without a glitch. My needs are met with the Acer Swift.

Using it for school as an accounting major I need to use a couple programs at once’s and it’s handled it pretty well so far I have no problems. Keyboard is a little small but it’s not a big computer. Also super light and great for commuting
