Really nice laptop for the price, 500GB NVMe SSD, 8-core Ryzen 4700U, great (for integrated) video card. You can charge/power it using the USB-C port if you have a USB-PD adapter thats 45W or more (45W is when they switch to 20V). Very quiet even at full load, I know noise is subjective, but I am super picky about fan noise. The SoC (CPU/GPU) seems to always max out at 17W no matter what you throw at it, which does limit its multi-core performance, but keeps the noise / heat / battery life reasonable.

Has been riddled with problems since it was purchased, right key never worked sound sometimes doesn’t work, battery life is bad must be a refurbished laptop because it’s not working like a new laptop

Edit: So I’m now in my second semester of college. Still a good laptop except for 2 things.

CAUTION -- Bought new, but mouse pad stopped working, sound got staticky, and screen was blacking out after 1 month.

I purchased this laptop after research and man has thing been a headache . I’ve had to send it back once for them to repair it and it still does not work right. It constantly freezes and shuts down .

This will be the last Acer I purchase. It broke after 3 weeks and is being returned to the manufacturer. It will not charge. Hot plugs, battery reset, and new charging cable tried. It was registered for its warranty but the site cannot locate its SN for service. The Acer site is full of dead links. Special tools are needed to remove the battery for further troubleshooting but I don’t have time to fix their broken product. This is absolutely shameful.

So far so good, with about a month using the laptop. We have been quite satisfied with the laptop overall. Would have be nice if the speaker is louder though.

It is the best purchase I made this year.
