I have always bought the most expensive pencil sharpeners at local office supply stores and Wally’s, but they rarely make it through a school year, sometimes they’d only last a few months. I bought this one a year and two weeks ago and it’s still running as well as it did the first day. I have a cabinet graveyard of former pencil sharpeners, but I am now so happy to have found this little round pencil sharpener!

The most important thing about this sharpener is that it actually sharpens the pencils well, whether they are colored pencils, or graphite pencils. We love the shade of the sharpener. We chose the blue color, which matches well with the other office items we have. I would not recommend this for anyone under seven, since this sharpener is very powerful. You really have to have a good grip on the pencil as youre stabbing it downward into the sharpener, because it will rotate in your hand if youre not gripping it tightly enough.

Works quickly and efficiently. Heavy duty, does it job well.
