Lid is a little hard to get off to empty canister. Does great on both plain and colored pencils.

This is the best money I’ve ever spent as a teacher. I can sharpen Number two pencils, coloring pencils and crayons. The sharpening will start automatically when the item is sharp. I don’t have to check on the shortness it will finish fully by itself.
