I love this sharpener! It is adjustable for larger girth pencils and has an auto stop feature as well. The dull setting isn’t very dull and I the shavings stick to the plastic when emptying, but other than that I am very happy with this purchase.

We purchased this to replace a wall mounted Bostich pencil sharpener that chews up our pencils, sharpens unevenly, and rubs blisters on our thumbs if we have to sharpen more than a few pencils at a time. My husband and I just assumed, being babes of the 60s-70s, that an old school wall mounted pencil sharpener would be a “buy it for life” purchase for our kids. Boy, were we wrong, we grew to hate the darn thing! I was suspicious of electric sharpeners because they too had the propensity to sharpen unevenly, get clogged with tips, etc. We just ran this AFMAT sharpener through every pencil and map pencil our boys are heading back to school with this Fall; 4-5 dozen in total…. Perfect tip on every single one, no broken leads and no stopping to unclog the sharpener head. Took us less than 10 minutes! Can’t recommend this sharpener enough. As a former teacher, I’d be willing to gamble it would hold up to classroom use.

Great pencil sharpener for the money

This is incredible that it sharpens the pencils perfectly and stop automatically. Its brilliant! Never had a sharpen this great!

Has a range for starpening and when fully sharpened to the range selected it shuts off whixh keeps from over using the pencil and hving to buy more

So many electric pencils are really bad for colored pencils because they cause the colored core to break into segments (I suppose because of the vibration). This sharpener doesn’t do that, so hooray for that!

Finally found a pencil sharpener that works. You get a perfect point on the first try. Rarely do you have to put it back in. Like this so much, I bought 2 for my grandsons classroom.

Would recommend this! It sharpens pencils, colored pencils very nicely. I tried a pastel pencil but it seems to gum up the sharpener. Otherwise great!
