I kept breaking the lead on colored pencils, which was quickly becoming pricey, until I got this electric sharpener. I tested it on graphite, soft-core, oil-based, watercolor, and normal writing pencils. It sharpened everything I had to a consistent point without fail. Out of curiosity, I took it apart to familiarize myself with cleaning it out and I was glad to see that it was easily accomplished. The build feels sturdy and the parts both come apart and come back together easily and intuitively. Im looking forward to saving time, stress and money by using this item!

This is by far the best pencil sharpener I have ever used. I am an illustrator of story books and need a sharp point for detail work. Could not be more pleased. Have tried many others in the past.

The only sharpener, manual or electric that sharpens the three sided pencils fro Ticonderoga. The TRI-conderoga.

Stopped working completely after less than 2 months of use. Right after the return window. Seems like an electrical issue. No noise when plugging in or placing the pencil in the sharpener. I guess I’m going to just sharpen pencils with a pocket knife for now on.

I bought three(three!) different brands of electric pencil sharpeners on amazon in the course of just one week; only one worked (this one), I returned one of the others (tired of returning dud sharpeners, I just gave up and kept one of them (I live on an incredibly tight budget , so the price of this one was a deterrent at first until I realized that if I didnt just go ahead and pay it, Id probably be returning electric pencil sharpeners until the day I died, so no thanks to that! Im an artist by hobby, and as such, Ive purchased many electric pencil sharpeners over the years (most just go bad), and I can promise this by far is the best one yet, it sharpens even my metallic color pencils-- notoriously tricky to sharpen well without cores breaking or crumbling--but this sharpener beautifully handles all of my metallic colored pencils (of which I regularly use several brands), to fine, perfect clean points. That is no easy task for other sharpeners I have used, this sharpener produces such incredibly clean, sharp points on any pencils of mine, regular Pentel color pencils and drawing pencils included. So go ahead, buy this one, youve found the right one, no need to try out akll the otheres here, Ive already done that for you!
