> 3 dayBought 2 of these products to support 2 - 10K Frigidaire Window A/Cs. They are constructed quite well and are very strong. Each of my A/C units weigh approx 115 lbs. Once setup correctly, these supports not only fit nearly perfect n my windows, but also support the units quite easily! While the feet set against the vinyl siding and proper 5-8 deg (for water drainage) is noticeable. You may have a few gaps to fill, but that can be accomplished quite easily. I use 1/2 Styrofoam Pipe wrap and cut to fit. No complaints and the units have been running without incident for a month.

Greater than one weekTheres hardly any air circulation around my building so my sons purchased an air conditioner unit that fits in the window. The windows dont have much of a sill, so we got the Universal Window AC Support/Air Conditioner Bracket. They had to do some creative work-arounds with some 2 x 4s as we live on the third floor. No way to stand outside and screw things down. *chuckles* So far, everythings working well.

> 3 dayGood idea but couldnt use because the lower rail (holds the accordian sides) on the a.c. unit has to fit in the window groove. With this brace it raises it way above where it should naturally fit.

Greater than one weekExactly what I wanted. I didnt want to drill holes in the siding but needed a window unit for my garage. It holds a 12000btu unit very well. It is capable of holding even a larger unit. Most importantly NO HOLES!

> 3 dayEasy to assemble. The pieces were too big to anchor the bracket in place, so I had to go to Home Depot to get some. That wasn’t an issue. Only issue I had after assembly, and trying to install it the the window was that no matter how hard I tightened with my drill set, the bracket wouldn’t hold shape. I had to drill more bits into the racket itself to get it to sit correctly on the concrete on the outside wall. It was the only way I could get it to stay how it needed to be in order for it to hold its shape.

> 3 dayIt is a good, sturdy bracket, especially at that price. It takes a little bit of skill at assembling things to put together and was a bit more of a project than I anticipated, but I had it done and set in about half an hour.

> 3 dayFrom what I can see, the materials used in this project seem sturdy and durable enough to withstand the elements in the long run. However, accessing and aligning screws and nuts in certain areas can be challenging due to design flaws. Additionally, the instructions only provide a generic list of necessary tools such as wrenches and sockets without specifying the required size. This, along with the inadequate design, can result in wasted time and effort when constructing what should have been a relatively simple device.

> 3 daySince the written instructions for the two-arm, heavy duty version (drilling required) of this bracket are almost impossible to follow, a good installation video is needed, but there are a lot of problems in Alpines installation video. Mainly, the sections showing how to install the connector bar are pretty screwed up - it shows the long hex bar being inserted at different locations. Also, in the section for the final installation (at 2:52 of the video), the connector bar magically disappears altogether. More detailed comments, with many of the flaws in the video, can be found at the YouTube version of this video (the two arm, heavy duty, drilling required version). Alpine did a really sloppy job with this video.

Greater than one weekI personally dont want to leave this unsecured to wind not really easy to install but also not hard. Overpriced for what it is. to be fair though it is sturdy
