Greater than one weekDirections to horrendous and there’s only one video online and it’s not much better. The design isn’t very good because it’s not clear how to set it up. I still haven’t figured it out

> 3 dayFirst off I reviewed the 1 star comments and I agree the instructions stink but that does not merit a one star rating. If we made it thru high school we were given the tools to figure some stuff out on our own. There are about 10 metal parts and plenty of pics showing different views on the Amazon web page. There are only two different nuts so you have a 50-50 chance of getting it wrong. As for the pic of the swinging bracket you have the feet on the wrong end. I mounted this in the window of a fifth wheel camper and worked great and should work in just about any window application. Although a bit pricey it is made of a good gauge of steel and feels quite strong. The first order was missing the feet & pads but they took care of the problem right away. I give it 4 Stars.

> 3 dayI personally dont want to leave this unsecured to wind not really easy to install but also not hard. Overpriced for what it is. to be fair though it is sturdy

> 3 dayWish this had some adjustability to widen out. Still works very well and gives great peace of mind as A/C is on second story. Some bolts are a little tricky to reach and you may have to press legs up to tighten after A/C installed. Overall very pleased. Its very heavy duty. As others have said watch the video and it will help. Probably took about 1/2 hour to install.

> 3 dayBought this to replace a failed bracket for my LG 15K BTU room air conditioner. Unit was fullfilled by Amazon. Unit arrived in its box, damaged. The level vials were broken and one was drained of its fluid. That is enough to warrant a return right there, but this was intended for supporting a large AC unit. it is probably strong enough to hold the Unit in the window, IF, it fit the unit. My AC unit measures 25 deep without the front face grill. This bracket measures overall 18. that is 18 from the front holes used for mounting to the window sill to the end of the bracket outside the window. My AC is a slide in as most of the large units are, you have to mount the can in the window then slide the Unit into the can and mount the front grille. The can has no bottom. There is no way to mount the can to this bracket. It is just plain flat too small. Here, SIZE DOES MATTER! It may very well hold 180# but that is deceiving because a 180# AC unit is going to be a lot larger than 18 deep x 18 wide. This will not work for the class of AC unit claimed in its advertising. Gave it three stars cause it does appear that it would work fine for a small unit.outside of the broken level vials which seem to be common with this product. Returned for refund. It only measures 18 x 18 good thing to know when mounting a 27 wide by 25 deep AC unit.

> 3 dayFrom what I can see, the materials used in this project seem sturdy and durable enough to withstand the elements in the long run. However, accessing and aligning screws and nuts in certain areas can be challenging due to design flaws. Additionally, the instructions only provide a generic list of necessary tools such as wrenches and sockets without specifying the required size. This, along with the inadequate design, can result in wasted time and effort when constructing what should have been a relatively simple device.

> 3 dayGood idea but couldnt use because the lower rail (holds the accordian sides) on the a.c. unit has to fit in the window groove. With this brace it raises it way above where it should naturally fit.

> 3 dayWe installed this on our RV to hold a window unit. It worked great, and even survived a direct hit from hurricane Ian at a category 4, it held strong with the unit in place. Hated spending $75 for it, but wow, cant complain now.
