Greater than one weekEasy to assemble. The pieces were too big to anchor the bracket in place, so I had to go to Home Depot to get some. That wasn’t an issue. Only issue I had after assembly, and trying to install it the the window was that no matter how hard I tightened with my drill set, the bracket wouldn’t hold shape. I had to drill more bits into the racket itself to get it to sit correctly on the concrete on the outside wall. It was the only way I could get it to stay how it needed to be in order for it to hold its shape.

> 3 dayI bought and used it now because it is only option for non drill required air conditioner supporter. It is very sturdy but when I received it its ends were alreday chipped off of paint. It is fine because it would be installed outside and no one look at it. However it has three major defects: First of all. when you assemble, it uses bolt and nut but its size is not really fit so witout tool you cant do it. Second, the hand is too short so even it is supporter but not really wors. It is supposed to tilt around a couple of degree so the water comes out in the end of air conditioner but the handle is too short so it tiles almost like 15 degree. I felt the air conditioner sliped down from the supporter so I bought extra panel to found its hands. The last is it basically did not care about install under air conditioner. So, when you install the air conditioner there is huge gap between the air conditioner and supporter. I also needs to buy extra foam to block this gap.

> 3 daySince the written instructions for the two-arm, heavy duty version (drilling required) of this bracket are almost impossible to follow, a good installation video is needed, but there are a lot of problems in Alpines installation video. Mainly, the sections showing how to install the connector bar are pretty screwed up - it shows the long hex bar being inserted at different locations. Also, in the section for the final installation (at 2:52 of the video), the connector bar magically disappears altogether. More detailed comments, with many of the flaws in the video, can be found at the YouTube version of this video (the two arm, heavy duty, drilling required version). Alpine did a really sloppy job with this video.

> 3 dayIf your air conditioner has a bar or feet on the bottom, or the bottom of your unit isnt completely flat, this bracket will not work with your air conditioner. Alpine Hardware was very responsive with their support so I cannot complain about that.

> 3 dayThe thing you got to know before puchasing is what ac you get and try picture how its going to sit on this unit its completely flat. Make sure your ac is also flat on the bottom, wise your going to need to add with this like wood or something like that. Mine wasnt obviously.

> 3 dayTheres a discrepancy on the build instructions that states using a 7/16 wrench or socket this is absolutely wrong on so many levels, its metric not standard bolts as the kit I received had 10mm nuts and bolts. It was easy to assemble straight forward but at least include the proper hardware with this universal kit please, or update the instructions because it seems like corners were cut on material cost(s). Once my new ac unit arrives Ill update my review with some video and pictures of what Im commenting on. Get this you wont be disappointed its of great quality looks very nice and powder coated steel. My speculation this will last longer than the ac its going to support!
