The kit came with 2x screen protectors, instructions, hinge stickers, cloth, two sets of wet and dry cleaning wipes, and a small card. Came in good packaging. There was no damage to the package, and no scratches on the glass film before application. The screen protector itself does seem a little thick, but it is hardly obtrusive (see picture.) The edges are beveled, so it doesnt feel sharp when your fingers slide around the edges. After application, the screen protector was just slightly smaller than the screen itself. This is a good thing though, because its enough to protect the surface of the device, but without making it difficult to align the film onto the screen properly. It is worth noting that the screen does seem to have more of a glare after the screen protector is on, but I suppose thats to be expected with any glass screen protector. I dont find that to be too big of an issue, however. As far as application, I did as the instructions suggested by applying the film in the bathroom after running hot water in the shower. The cleaning wipes did a great job of getting all the smudges and such off the screen, likewise the drying cloth didnt leave any streaking from the wet wipe. I didnt even have to use the included cloth or stickers since the cleaning wipes were so good. After application, I had no issues getting smaller bubbles out from under the film. Since the screen on the Switch is plastic instead of glass, Ive heard that it scratches much easier. Keeping this in mind, and the fact that there have been complaints of docks scratching the screen, I consider this product a must buy. Not only does the screen protector feel quite solid, but this package comes with two screen protectors for near the same price as competitors who only supply one. I definitely recommend this product to anyone who owns a Nintendo Switch!

This is honestly a fantastic product and the easiest screen protector application Ive ever had. That may or may not speak well of the product quality, because Ive never used a glass screen protector before, but either way, it was super easy to just set down the edge and lay it flat. Now I love swiping my fingers all over the screen because its so nice and smooth. The first time I stuck it down, I got a single little piece of dust near the edge. So I pulled it back up, used one of the handy included stickers to grab the dust out of there, and set it back down. It was ALMOST perfect. At the corner where I had peeled up the protector, there are now two little bubble arcs that dont go away, no matter how much I press on them. Its a bit disappointing that I wasnt able to remove and reapply the protector without some permanent visual flaw, but its really no big deal because when I say little bubble arcs, I mean really really little. You have to look a bit to even notice them. The other minor complaint I have is that these seem to scratch fairly easily. I take extremely good care of my things, but I somehow got a scratch on my screen protector already. Its not major at all, only maybe 1/16, but its there and my screen is no longer flawless. Bottom line though, that scratch isnt on my Switchs screen, so Id say the protector did its job.

I have installed these tempered glass screens before on various iphones, the latest being a 7+, without any trouble. I had trouble installing it on the Nintendo Switch and here is what happened. I ended up with a bubble in the middle that the provided cardboard squeegee could not move far enough to the edge to get it out. Finally I carefully pulled up a corner, got the bubble out and reapplied, but now the corner would not adhere properly. So I just scrapped screen number one and started over fresh with screen number two (two are provided). This time I ended up with two bubbles in the center and the same issue with not being able to maneuver the bubbles all the way over to and out the side. By now the cardboard squeegee was bent and not working well so I used my thumbs and eventually got the two bubbles out. In spite of my difficulty I have rated this product 5 stars because the process of applying these screens is so subjective. Bottom line, you have to stick with it if you have trouble with bubbles. Everything else is a matter of following directions and watching youtube videos of the process. The product quality is outstanding.

So this will be my first review after many many years on Amazon and many many purchases but I was just astounded at how well this worked! To start off with I have bought 3 different screen protectors for the Switch and the only ones that worked without a hitch are these. The first screen protectors I tried were the Nintendo licensed Hori screen protectors (I tried 2 of these) and they were so perfectly cut for the Switch screen that if you were off by a millimeter the entire screen protector was held off of the screen and allowed air and dust to collect and spread. Both times I applied a Hori screen protector I aligned it perfectly with the cutouts but that still wasnt good enough to allow it to bond to the screen without the lifting on the sides which allowed tons of air and dust under. They also attracted dust like nobodies business when trying to apply them (even in a humid bathroom) They also didnt come with wet/dry wipes and the red Switch branded cleaning cloth shed everywhere. The next screen protector I got was the protector that comes with the Zelda skin kit and while it was a much much better fit it immediately attracted dust when you started applying it (even in a very humid, small bathroom). I almost had it perfect with the exception of one corner and when I went to clean that corner and get the dust and fuzz out from under it it immediately attracted more and I could never get it clean enough to provide a decent seal without tons of dust in that one corner. Next are these, the amFilm Tempered Glass screen protectors, and I am absolutely astounded at how easily I applied it with only one piece of dust which I was able to get out with the dust removal sticker. I started out by allowing turning my shower on as hot as it goes (we tweaked our heater so water comes out hotter than what is legal to when selling them) and when the mirrors were nice and fogged over and the heat hit me as soon as I walked in I brought the Switch, without the controllers, into the bathroom. I cleaned it with the wet cloth, used the dry cloth to get the excess alcohol from the wet cloth off, and didnt even have to clean it with the microfiber cloth because it was immaculate. I pulled the tempered glass protector out of the foam, held it away from the Switch while peeling off the back so no dust that might be on it would fall on the screen, aligned it with the holes on the side of the screen, and let the protector go. It immediately adhered to the screen and the bubbles immediately disappeared except for 2, I worked both out but noticed the second had been extremely hard to work out and thats when I saw the long piece of dust/fuzz. I started getting really really worried because with the others when I had tried to clean out the dust was when everything went horribly wrong. I pulled the dust sticker off of the paper (they provide tons of stickers), worked that one small area up with my fingernail, and slowly stuck the sticker under to get the dust. It immediately stuck to the sticker and came out from under the protector easily and the protector sealed quickly without any other dust getting under the protector. This is the absolute easiest time I have EVER had applying a screen protector and the most perfect I have ever had one because there is not a single piece of dust under it! The fit is also nice, it isnt like the Hori protectors that you have to be absolutely perfect aligning (not to mention that that theyre ridiculously expensive, $7.99, for a SINGLE plastic screen protectors when you get 2 of these tempered glass protectors for $10.99) because these are cut a slight bit smaller that the full screen so you can me off by a millimeter and not screw up the entire screen protector. If youre getting a screen protector for your Switch (and you should be thanks to the dock scratching the ever-loving hell out of the screen) this is definitely what you should be going with!

This screen protector has saved my worries from dock scratches and any other scratch that could possible happen. The kit comes with everything you need to apply it correctly and is very easy to do its procedure. The bottom of the dock will still make contact with the screen protector and may give it a smudge at the bottom of the black sides of the switch screen, but this never actually causes harm to the actual screen and can be rubbed off easily to a still perfect screen protector. One thing to note though : you should not leave your switch in your car with this screen protector applied on a hot day, as the adhesive may bubble along the edges of the protector. This is not extremely noticeable and completely understandable,as the car was at least 130 degrees internally and the switch was in there for at least 6 hours, so I would say it held up really well. The adhesive did not appear to do any damage to the screen itself, so that is good, and if need be I can always change it with the extra screen protector provided. Great product and definitely recommend.

This is a new brand to me, not to mention a new device (the Nintendo Switch). The instructions were good, though they were very generic and were geared towards a phone, not the Switch. I think they could have bothered to make a set devoted to the Switch. Also, they included stickers for dust removal that clearly stated Please DONT use this to remove dust on Nintendo Switch. If that is the case, why include the stickers at all? Especially when this is a size and shape that is quite specific to the Switch? Odd, but not worth deducting points off. I think this company would do themselves and their customers a favor by designing a kit (instructions, no unnecessary components) designed specifically for the Nintendo Switch instead of all this generic stuff. Having more components than you will use/need can lead to confusion at the worst. The good news is that if you have experience putting on phone screen protectors and are reasonably good at doing so, then this will be one of the easier installs you will ever experience. I gave all features four stars for now. I am reserving the fifth star for a month or so after Ive had the protector installed to see how it holds up. There could be three more stars in the future; only time will tell.

This protector is great. Its thin yet solid feeling. Once installed its very clean looking and gives me the peace of mind knowing that my screen is safe. My main concern was getting scratches from docking the Switch and now thats no longer an issue. Installation was straight forward and easy and the included supplies were adequate to help with the process. If you are going for that perfect install, I do recommend working in a humid environment as the instructions suggest. It will help to ensure that any dust and debris do not end up sandwiched between your screen and the protector. I did not do this and ended up with a few tiny hairs along the border but am okay with it since they do not interfere with viewing and the screen is now protected. A tip I have is to use tape to create a hinge on one edge of the protector and the Switch prior to exposing the adhesive back. This will perfectly align it and hold it in place. Then all you have to do is peel away the backing and lay the protector down without struggling to position it and possibly messing it up.

Let me start off by saying I SUCK at putting on protectors on screens. I can follow the instructions to the letter and then some and STILL mess it up, my luck is just THAT bad. Now with that out of the way, THIS IS AMAZING. I followed the instructions, from cleaning, to using it in the bathroom after some hot water to remove any airborne dust. It came out just perfect on the first shot! Now, even with all the care I was doing, I STILL got a dog hair under one side, so before the final presses I carefully pulled it back up and took the hair out, and still a perfect seal! I love that you get two, it made me feel a bit more safe, in case I really did mess it up. This kit has EVERYTHING you need to get this on clean and perfect the first time. Now I can finally take my Switch with me when I go out, without fear of someone looking at it and tada a scratch. In the pictures I attached you can see it does have everything you could need, (even a link to a video showing you) and the second, perfect <3

The oleophobic coating is really good for resisting/easy cleaning of fingerprints but considering the switch is fully navigable by controller so the screen rarely gets touched, I would prefer a more smudgy but antireflective coating, like the coating used on recent MacBook displays, its a shame most screen protectors for the switch are either mirrors or fully matte, A nice anti-reflective gloss protector would be great.

I did a lot of research from reviews to forums. Everyone said dont do pdp or hori. However. amFilm had a lot of buzz and amazon reviews. I also bought Orzly (under rated on Amazon but in forums ppl said screen protectors were their thing). Messed up my first Orzly. Used amFilm next. Tabs made install really easy. So amFilm is protecting my Switch atm. Orzly doesnt have tabs for easy install but they had better cleaning/ prep kit. better microfiber cloth and alcohol wipe (amFilms wet & dry cloth didnt work that well). Used the wet then their microfiber to dry. Wet then the dry cloth left a fog. Microfiber cleared that up tho. Overall.. bubbles and stuff were easy to get rid of on amFilm. Tabs helped. almost edge to edge (orzly is edge to edge. which is why i kept messing up. no tabs and no room for error). I will buy amFilm again!!
