amFilm Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Nintendo Switch 2017 (2-Pack)

This is the second pack of these that Ive bought. The first one did its job perfectly. I let a friend borrow my Switch for a while and they managed to crack the screen. I had a look and saw that it was only the protector that broke and my Switch was unscathed! Perfect that it was a 2 pack; I just took off the damaged protector and put on the 2nd one. I had problems with the Switch and sent it to Nintendo who ended up just sending me a new Switch. So, now Im buying a this screen protector a 2nd time to keep the new unit in tip top condition. Its easy to install, and fits easily with other sleeves and cases for the Switch. I highly recommend!

It was easy to install. It doesnt affect how I use or view my switch.

First and foremost, I HATE screen protectors. Every time I purchased one for my smartphone, something always went wrong: the protector didn’t align correctly, small bubbles would disrupt the appearance, or the supplied cleaning cloths left a few specs of dust that mocked me every time I turned on my device. When I purchased my new Nintendo Switch, I was more concerned about getting scratches on the screen than having a couple bubbles and dust specs, so I went with the best-reviewed product on Amazon for the price. After putting the protector on just as the instructions said, I was shocked to find none of the problems I had with other protectors. The kit comes with both wet and dry cloths that make the screen (literally) spotless. The kit also comes with a squeegee to get those annoying bubbles out. Only 1 small bubble remained after a couple minutes of putting on the protector, and it disappeared by itself within an hour or so of playing on the system. I don’t know how durable the protector is yet since I haven’t dropped or scraped my system, but I have no doubt this will last a LONG time. Lastly, the protector feels much smoother than the actual Switch screen without taking away any picture quality whatsoever. If this company makes other protectors for my smartphone, I’m definitely buying!

I dont really like having to put screen protectors on my tech, but its a necessary part of keeping it in good shape, and Im happy to say that this is one of the better (if not best) screen protectors Ive used for any of my devices. Everything needed was included in the box, and the protector is cut to fit with just a little bit of space on the sides when centered on the screen (or easily set up against any side if you dont want to fidget with centering it. Due to my own mistakes while applying the protector, I had to remove it. I was happy to see that it pulled up fairly easily and didnt leave any kind of residue on the screen itself, and that the extra protector included in the box went on just as easily. Neither application had lasting air bubbles beneath the screen, and Im happy to say that the adhesive hasnt melted or left any other kind of unsightly marks on the screen after extended play sessions. Finally, the thickness of the screen doesnt interfere with your ability to easily slide the Switchs screen in and out of the dock, and all of the touch functionality remains perfectly intact. If you prefer a hard screen protector for your tech, I dont think youll be able to find anything better than this.

I bought this tempered glass screen protector for my Nintendo Switch the very same day I got the system itself, and Ive been using just one of the two protectors on my Switch since then without it ever even getting scratched. This is, without a doubt, one of the best products Ive ever bought for my Switch - strong, sturdy, does not affect visual quality in the least, and has kept my Switch screen pristine for 3+ years now, which completely blows my mind. Never even had to use the 2nd one! Highly recommend if youre looking to protect your Switch screen without breaking the bank, but while still getting top-quality protection that doesnt get in the way of your gameplay experience.

PRODUCT REVIEW: This is a super easy to install product and I highly recommend it. When I opened the package I was a little skeptical due to what I thought was already scratches on the screen protector. After close inspection there does seem to be plastic covering both sides. It comes with 2 wet wipes and 2 dry wipes, which I highly recommend using even if you think your switch screen is clean. It also comes with cleaning cloth, hard card to push air bubbles out, as well as placement stickers to help with the placement of the screen protector. Overall Im super happy with this product and woukd buy it again. MY INSTALL PROCEDURE: First off please make sure you are in a well lit area, that it is a clean area with low amounts of dust(if possible none at all), and that there is no fans or wind blowing in your direction. Wipe down switch screen with wet wipe, making sure to cover all corners. Then use dry wipe and completely dry off switch. Once completely dry, take screen protector and remove the plastic cover marked 1 on it. This will be the sticky side you put down against your screen. Make sure to touch only the edges, as if you touch the sticky part you will leave finger print behind. I start from one side to the other to help avoid air bubbles. I line it up from left to right with my switch and begin placing it down slowly. I gently push down on the screen protector as Im placing it to push out any air bubbles I may have. If I notice a air bubble I slowly lift back up a bit and then place back down. I had trouble with one air bubble in the end and I couldnt push it out. I ended up having to lift the corner with my finger nail and replace it to get it out. Be careful though, if you do this more then a couple times the sticky stuff will come off and the corner of your screen protector will no longer stick. I did this to my last screen protector and ended up replacing it for that exact reason.

This screen protector is the best I have used. While it doesnt have the snazzy bezel to make the installation a no brainier, if you follow the directions installation is a breeze. I have three nintendo switch units in the house and every single one has an amFilm screen protector on it. Recently my youngest dropped his Switch going from room to room and it hit at a strange angle just off of being vertical... It impacted on the top edge of the film and the chassis. the film shattered and the screen remained intact and unharmed!! Peeled the film off and popped another one on!! I recommend doing the installation in a closed bathroom. you want to get things lightly steamy to get the dust down but not so steamy that water starts to condense on the glass... Use the hinge stickers!! You get two screen protectors and six stickers. I line things up and hold in place the put three stickers on the bottom of the protector and wrap them on to the bottom of the switch. Lift the protector up enough to peel the film against the screen and then drop the film... DONE!!

This is a great product. I originally bought the official HORI screen protector which applied horribly because the dimensions matched the screen to closely and peeled off the edges after application(but it did protect my switch until this product arrived.) Ever since I started using tempered glass screen protectors on my phone they have been my favorite (plus they apply easier. Also usually they are pricey, so do yourself a favor and get this product while its on sale plus it comes with 2!). The application was extremely easy because it comes with two tabs that help with alignment. Also the cleaning and drying clothes provided work very well. Once applied there was not a single bubble. It also looks very crisp and smooth on the screen itself. The only negative is that when docked it is a tight fit and there are two rubber stoppers inside the switch dock that leave a smudge on each side of the screen(but rather it be on the screen protector than the actual screen. Some people Ive spoke with actually like the fact it doesnt wobble in the dock anymore, which is a plus.) And after using this screen protector for awhile I still do not have not a single scratch on the protector or the back of the system from docking/undocking.

Good product, fast shipping and easy installation. Just a couple of small tips: - Use the suggested method by other reviewers. Install it on your restroom after leaving the shower running for a bit, so the room is steamy and the dust has settled down. - Clean the Switch screen thoroughly with the provided wet and dry towels. Apply them several times until you make completely sure there is no grease, dust or other residues on the screen. - DO NOT use the dust removal stickers on the Switch screen, they leave residue so at the end it would require to clean the screen all over again. - Use a hinge approach: Use the thin dust removal stickers (or regular scotch tape) for creating a door with the glass once you have it aligned with the Switchs screen (once again, do not use the stickers directly on the Switch screen). Once you have it placed properly just remove the internal protector and let it fall in place by its own weight and remove the stickers starting from the glass side. I have to say that I am usually pretty clumsy for these installations and following those easy steps I got a perfect result with no dust bubbles thanks to all the advice around, just adding my personal two cents. The reason Im giving it this score is because it left a couple of large bubbles that took me forever to get out. Also once it got hot on the dock the screen protector glue started to become visible and now i see these weird lightning design from the glue residue inside the screen protector. Ive used numerous types of screen protectors on phones so Im not stranger to the application of it, but with that being said i will definitely purchase a different brand screen protector the next chance i get. UPDATE: After i wrote this i went ahead and submitted a claim about in on the techmatte website and literally within a 5 days they sent me a new screen protector. I wasnt even charged for shipping. With this second screen i went ahead and applied it and this time the product worked perfectly. I may have received a faulty product the first time but they have great customer support and no problem replacing faulty products and for that i change my original 3 star review to a 5 star.
