amFilm Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Nintendo Switch 2017 (2-Pack)

I purchased a Nintendo Switch and got paranoid about how the dock would scratch the screen so I purchased another screen protector from another company because I was there already but something inside me said not to but, the anxiety kicked in so I bought it took it home installed it and bubbles everywhere and supposedly they are the best at screen protectors well I dont think so! I purchased amFilms screen protectors before for my phones and they worked great so I took off the other screen protector which was ruined and purchased the amFilm Switch screen protector man, took it out of the box did what I had to do and PERFECT the first time I should have known better the other one cost me more than twice the cost of the amFilm and I got 2 tempered glass screen protectors and all the accessories to install it properly. BUY the amFilm Tempered Glass Screen Protector if you dont want the bubbles, ends coming off, cutouts not accurate to switches design, bad instructions, missing accessories to install properly, overall a bad experience but, if you want all of this then go ahead and buy the others.

There is always install error to account for. Applying any screen protector takes some technique. With that said, this works very well. I have used the same brand on my Google Pixel 3 phone and it always worked well. Clean the screen well before applying it, but do not go overboard and saturate the screen. If the screen has bubbles you can carefully lift the edge up and then place the glass back down to get the screen to naturally push the air out.

Im always careful with my electronics and this screen protector is awesome. It helps keep the screen from getting scuffed when using in the dock and hand held mode almost daily. I did have an incident were my switch slipped from my hands and had a hit on the screen protector and cracked, it did its job and protected the screen. Thankfully this comes in a 2-pack so i did not have to wait for a replacement. The only down side i had was that when removing the cracked protector the glass protector splintered even more. This was not a big deal because the bonding method keep the small fragments from falling off the protector. On the install its simple but can get a static effect that will attract pet hair and lint from across the room just make sure you are double checking for loose hair or lint before placing it on the switch.

Perfect fit , lightweight, durable, kickstand is perfect for movies or just scrolling thru any social media. Has a screen protector that is built in to the case . Definitely worth the price an hopefully can withstand my husbands fumble fingers .

I was expecting a nicer screen protector than plastic screen protectors, But these screen protectors are absolutely amazing and an absolute joy to apply due to the contents included in the package. Comes with 2 sturdy tempered glass protectors which are perfectly cut to fit around the speakers and sensor at the bottom so lining up is very simple. The film on the glass panels are designed in a way so that accidentally touching the adhesive just should not happen...ever.. and the tabs on each side make it easy to line up and apply, once applied you simply run your fingers from the center out and you get a beautiful, bubble free screen that is sturdy. Before doing any of that though youll want to clean your hands of any and all oil to be safe, clean your work area and your Switches chincy plastic screen, but do so carefully as to not scratch your screen. The package comes with 2 sets of wet and dry wipes as well as a microfiber cloth.Use wet first, than gently dry excess moisture with the dry, finallt grab the micro cloth so no particles or residue is left behind. Before even opening I was sadly impressed by the heavy premium feeling cardboard the product came in. I love how the kit came with two sets of screens and wipes, was able to install a screen protector on mine and my sons Switches and the systems now feel far nicer than before, no worries of scratching and it adds a little snugness when docking so the system glides in nice n easy. Lastly the screen is very responsive when using touch functionality, everything just works great, youd have to be clueless to mess up the install with the provided instructions.. This is an awesome product.

Thankfully I purchased this screen protector when I first got our Switch. I received 2 screen protectors for $8. A steal!! (The price hasnt changed since I bought mine.) These protectors are nice and thick, and they adhere a lot easier than some iPad screen protectors Ive applied. After almost a year and a half of protecting our device it took a near-fatal blow. I dont know who did what to it, but it looked like someone smacked it on a hardy pointy surface. Upon discovering this I was sick, wondering how much itd cost to fix it; if itd be worth it. I knew I had a screen protector on it but the severity of the cracking made me think the protector was just holding the shards of the screen in place. After watching YouTube videos showing the insanely complicated process of replacing the LCD unit (using numerous tools I dont already own) I began to accept that Id be best purchasing a completely new Switch because paying someone else to replace it is almost the same as buying a new one. Then I thought Id fully convince myself if I pried off the protector and watched debris fall into my hands ...only to be surprised by the smooth surface of the actual screen under the cracked protector!!! Easy to apply, and when done properly, its as if the protector isnt even there. Cant put a price on the peace of mind you get with a tempered glass screen protector on an expensive piece of tech. Everything you need is in the package, including TWO pieces of glass - I got a bit of dust under the glass in my first attempt despite my best efforts, and was glad there was a second one in there, because my second attempt was perfect. I would definitely recommend watching the instructional video the company provides, which will ensure you get the glass on right and with nothing caught underneath. My one recommendation is that you take their advice to perhaps try putting the glass on in a steamy bathroom post-shower. Even one piece of dust under the glass has the potential to drive you nuts, and theres really no way to avoid dust in a standard household setting. All in all, I cant imagine why someone would pay more for this sort of protector, unless they just want more protection (this really only protects against scratches and usual wear, its not like its protecting the screen from a direct hit with a heavy object) or if more expensive protectors are more reliable to apply without dust. Otherwise, purchase this one with confidence.
