First things first, I HATE putting on screen protectors. I could never seem to get it perfect before. There would always be dust under the screen and it would annoy me to no end. I ordered this product when I got my Switch, because I heard the dock could scratch the screen, and for the sake of protecting the screen since it would always be exposed, unlike the 3DS which could close up. When I first got it and applied it, I will admit I messed up. Didnt read the instructions, wasnt happy with the results. Luckily, they offer a warranty, even covering user error. So, I made a claim that I messed up and they sent me a replacement. And you know what, 2 days later my replacement arrived. Honestly faster than I thought it would. Im pretty thankful they had that warranty, because now I was able to put it on correctly and dust free. The tips and tools they provide are really helpful. Doing the process in a steamy room, like after a hot shower (exactly what I did) made the dust settle, like the instructions said. They give you these hinge stickers, which help alignment. Basically lay the screen with all the protective film still on it perfectly on the Switch, then on the bottom or top of it place the stickers to make a little hinge, which makes sure the alignment will be the same when you apply it. I used 4 stickers, but they give you six. Then you can clean the screen, remove the protective layer on the sticky side and apply the thing. My other gripe with screen protectors is the bubbles. They just never seem to want to dissapear. This product says its zero bubble, but it really is minimal bubble obviously because they give you the little cardboard card to push out bubbles. I had 3 medium ish bubbles after applying it, and the card did a decent job. I was still rubbing for at least 20 minutes. I say it dis a decent job because mear the end it was really crumpled lol. I had a plastic one I saved from a previous failed phone screen protector though, and boy did that work better. If theres anything this product needs, its a plastic bubble removal card. Overall Im quite satisfied with the quality of the product and Techmattes service. This is definitely a must-get for switch owners.

    Greater than one week

Easy to apply, and when done properly, its as if the protector isnt even there. Cant put a price on the peace of mind you get with a tempered glass screen protector on an expensive piece of tech. Everything you need is in the package, including TWO pieces of glass - I got a bit of dust under the glass in my first attempt despite my best efforts, and was glad there was a second one in there, because my second attempt was perfect. I would definitely recommend watching the instructional video the company provides, which will ensure you get the glass on right and with nothing caught underneath. My one recommendation is that you take their advice to perhaps try putting the glass on in a steamy bathroom post-shower. Even one piece of dust under the glass has the potential to drive you nuts, and theres really no way to avoid dust in a standard household setting. All in all, I cant imagine why someone would pay more for this sort of protector, unless they just want more protection (this really only protects against scratches and usual wear, its not like its protecting the screen from a direct hit with a heavy object) or if more expensive protectors are more reliable to apply without dust. Otherwise, purchase this one with confidence.

Tempered glass, what else should you know? It really stands the test. Does not make your nintendo switch fat. It works really well and protects it.

Im going to preface this comment by saying that Ive been installing screen protectors on my devices since at least 2004, when I got my first Playstation PSP. Ive installed a lot of screen protectors on my various devices ever since then (e.g., iPhones, iPads, PSP, Vita, DS, 3DS, etc). Im not a professional, but Ive become pretty experienced doing this! With that disclaimer out of the way, I can say that the video helped, and I had a flawless install on my Nintendo Switch. This screen protector looks FANTASTIC! Very easy installation for me. To help others that may have had issues, Id like to offer some suggestions: Firstly, try to work in a clean and well lit environment, and make sure to clean your work area, too. Get all the installation items setup and ready to use. You want to work pretty quickly, so having everything ready is very helpful. Secondly, wash your hands thoroughly! You want to remove the oils from your hands. Thirdly, Im old enough to need reading glasses, and when working on these installations, the extra magnification helps! Use the wet cleaning pad to clean the Switch screen, and then use the dry cleaning cloth to dry the screen. By wearing my reading glasses, Im able to see the screen very closely. MAKE SURE TO REMOVE EVERY SPECK OF DUST AND FINGERPRINTS FROM THE SCREEN!! If you dont you WILL have bubbles! Lastly, carefully remove the ONE piece of plastic film, per the directions (its the side that will adhere to the screen). HOLD THE EDGES OF THE SCREEN PROTECTOR! IF YOU TOUCH THE PART THAT ADHERES TO THE SCREEN, YOU WILL LEAVE YOUR FINGERPRINT ON THE BOTTOM OF THE PROTECTOR, AND IT WILL ANNOY YOU TO NO END! Now, while holding the edges of the protector (and/or the tabs on the top plastic film), carefully align the bottom edge of the protector to the Switch screen (its where the cutouts are for the sensors). Once you align the bottom AND the left & right edges, SLOWLY let the protector drop/slide into place (from bottom to top). The rest of the protector should line up perfectly, and then work out any air bubbles along the side using the card/squeegee that was provided. Remove the final piece of film, and hopefully everything will be perfect. I hope this helps someone out there. Good luck!!

These are worth it. Both of my boys Switches have these glass screen protectors on them. A few months ago In a span of a week, both boys screens cracked. Someone dropped one at a birthday party and the other we think was sat on accidentally in the car. Examining them, it looked like the actual kid screen cracked below the screen protector. I left the screen protectors on to keep them from cracking more or cutting up the kids fingers while I ordered replacement screens. I had a good working top half of another Nintendo Switch on hand which included the screen and digitizer. So I swapped that out on one a month or so ago and we were good to go. For the other, I had to order a replacement digitizer (the actual exposed part of the screen which sits on top of the actual lcd screen) for $15 from China. It got here last week. So today, I was going to finally replace the screen. I got my desk cleaned off and tools laid out. Then I got the Switch and took the screen protector off and had planned to start disassembling the whole thing. Surprise, the screen was fine, no cracks at all. The glass screen protector is what was cracked! Lol. So, new screen protectors are on order for this one and my Switch. I hadn’t had one on mine, but now I’m a believer and going to put one on! If you have a Nintendo Switch and you actually use it in hand held mode, I strongly suggest getting one of these, it will save you money!

Update: 9/25/20 As I said in my original review, I knew a drop was inevitable. While getting out of the car tonight, my son dropped his Switch face down on the concrete. The top corner was shattered and much to my relief, it was the screen protector and NOT the screen! (Will add new pics) SO happy with this product! I brought the Switch inside, removed the old protector, cleaned the screen and replaced with another. Ordering another set right now. Buy these!!! Received the screen protectors today and both were in perfect condition. Instructions were very clear on how to correctly apply and all items needed were included. (Wet and dry clothes and a cloth to remove dust) This was by far the easiest screen protector I have ever applied. I cleaned my hands and the screen as directed, lined the protector up and when I dropped it into place, it adhered immediately with no bubbles. It looks great... can’t even tell that it’s on. Hopefully, it will save my 6 year old son’s new Switch from the inevitable falls and drops. Would recommend this 100% and would not hesitate to purchase again!
