amFilm Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Nintendo Switch 2017 (2-Pack)

This is a great product. I originally bought the official HORI screen protector which applied horribly because the dimensions matched the screen to closely and peeled off the edges after application(but it did protect my switch until this product arrived.) Ever since I started using tempered glass screen protectors on my phone they have been my favorite (plus they apply easier. Also usually they are pricey, so do yourself a favor and get this product while its on sale plus it comes with 2!). The application was extremely easy because it comes with two tabs that help with alignment. Also the cleaning and drying clothes provided work very well. Once applied there was not a single bubble. It also looks very crisp and smooth on the screen itself. The only negative is that when docked it is a tight fit and there are two rubber stoppers inside the switch dock that leave a smudge on each side of the screen(but rather it be on the screen protector than the actual screen. Some people Ive spoke with actually like the fact it doesnt wobble in the dock anymore, which is a plus.) And after using this screen protector for awhile I still do not have not a single scratch on the protector or the back of the system from docking/undocking.

Just arrived yesterday and I applied it immediately. A little difficult to apply, but I think thats more my fault than the product lol. It says not to use the stickers to remove dust on a Switch, so be sure to skip that step. I havent dropped it or anything so im not 100% on how effective it is for protection, but it seems good! Touch screen isnt affected at all and it comes with 2 which is a great addition. I definitely recommend!!

First time applying a screen protector and I think it went well, even if its a little lopsided! I followed advice from a review about not using the wipes in the accessories packet as it could be corrosive with the Switch material. Just used a little soapy water and a dry micro fiber cloth did the job and it came out with no bubbles once I went over it with a card. I would highly recommend good lighting and cleaning the work space so nothing gets stuck to the adhesive side. A few little hairs snuck under the screen but other than that, Ill be careful next time I install it.

This was easy to put on, it feels smooth and looks nice. Has protected my screen so far and Im hoping it keeps doing so! Overall great deal and product so far.

After hearing that it was a possibility to scratch your Switchs screen just by docking/undocking the system, I decided to invest in a screen protector. This one has the highest score and is the most recommended, so it was the obvious choice. Im always concerned when installing a screen protector on any of my devices; not for ease of installation, or even how tough/scratch resistant the protector is, but for how much it diminishes the quality of the screen it is protecting. Ive heard only good things about this screen protector, and searching through the reviews doesnt result in many people mentioning any reduction of screen quality, so I was hopeful. Installing was a pretty easy affair: as long as you follow the instructions and have at least half a brain (which Im assuming most if not all 1-star reviewers are lacking), it shouldnt be too difficult to get the screen protector on without any problems. The quality seems pretty good although I havent necessarily been testing out its limits, nor do I plan to, but I feel pretty confident that if something were to accidentally happen, the screen protector would come through unharmed. So as far as all that is concerned, Im satisfied. However, my satisfaction changed as soon as I turned the Switch on. Something about the picture just seemed off. The colors just didnt seem to be as vibrant as they were previously. The difference wasnt huge, but it was noticeable enough, which is what I was initially worried about before I bought the screen protector. Part of me thought that it was all in my head, but when I compared my protected screen to my friends naked screen the next day, it was immediately evident that the picture quality was diminished, specifically the vibrancy of the colors. The colors on my screen were much less saturated than his were, enough to make me heavily consider removing the screen protector completely. I wouldnt have as much of a problem with this as I do if the product didnt boast Ultra-clear High Definition with 99.9% transparency. In reality, its more like 85-90%. I would recommend this product to anyone who is purely worried about damaging their screen, and less so about how itll affect the quality of their picture. This would be perfect for people who are primarily going to use the system in docked mode. However, if youre like me, and value having the picture look as it was meant to, I would look for a different product or accept that it probably doesnt and will never exist. If I had known what I know now before I purchased this screen protector, I would have saved myself the 11 bucks and not purchased it at all.

We installed the first screen protector 6 months ago. This past week our son dropped the unit on concrete (dont ask why). The screen protector shattered but the device screen was fine. Totally saved us a huge repair or device replacement bill. Installation was also very easy as long as you can keep your work surface dust free.

I bought a Switch in July and did some research about screen protectors. Are they necessary? What is the best available on the market if they are? That sort of thing. I decided to go ahead and order one after reading some reviews and decided on this particular screen protector. Solid reviews, decent price. Like every other product similar to this on the market, they are always a bit of a potential pain to get applied, and you want one that doesnt give you any unexpected problems. This protector ended up working perfectly for me. Ive messed up a screen protector once or twice in my life, and Ive also applied a few that were great. If you take your time, follow the directions, and are having a non-cursed day, this screen protector will do the job nicely for you. Its a good product and a fair price. No regrets with my purchase.

Went on super easy and clean. Looks great. Pro tip: use latex gloves to remove a lot of dust and fingerprint possibilities before applying it!

You should definitely buy this product if you have a Nintendo Switch, and plan on taking advantage of the console’s portable capabilities. The size and structure of the Switch’s screen make screen protection a necessity. Additionally, with the rather unstable kickstand, the console falls with any small nudge or bump, so it’s nice knowing that the screen is safer from shatters, cracks, and scratches. I’ve used glass screen protectors for my phone in the past, and they’ve worked really well for me, which is why I decided to purchase a similar protector for my Switch. I attached the glass cover immediately upon purchase of the system. Trying my hardest not to put any fingerprints on the underside of the glass protector, I didn’t bend the screen enough before applying it, which left me with many air bubbles under the screen. To avoid ruining the sticky underside of the protector by pulling it off and applying it again, I simply tried push out most of these bubbles. The applicator that comes with the screen protectors for this use did not work very well for me, but after about fifteen minutes of working the air pockets out with a credit card instead, the bubbles had all disappeared. If you follow the directions more closely than I did, then you’ll have no problem with this product. In a tempered glass screen protector for my Switch, I was looking for a high scratch resistance, increased durability through application and travel with the console, a nice fit to the screen, and the provision of a clear view of the display screen underneath. Three months have now passed, and the screen has surpassed my expectations of its performance in every category I was evaluating it upon. The screen still looks like new, with very few scratches (which, at least, are on the replaceable protector rather than the actual console screen itself). It fits very well, provides no obstruction to the view of the game screen, and looks as if it isn’t even there. This amFilm protector is super cheap for the quality and concept of what you get, and you get two protectors for the price you pay, which is a great deal (especially given the price of the console). I would highly recommend this product to every Nintendo Switch user.
