> 24 hourI bought two sets of these. While they are quite easy to setup, the Wifi module has a tendency to go bad. 4 of the 8 have failed in less than a year. This is independent of any load through the AC portion. Plan on replacing them fairly regularly.

> 24 hourThis stay at home order got me thinking of ways to improve our home. I already have Google Home and smart led lights around the house, but I decided to take it a bit further and try to automate other stuff like electric fans, rice cooker, and other appliances. This product seems to be an inexpensive solution for my project. I wasn’t disappointed. The packaging is plain and simple with minimal branding. It contains 4 smart sockets and the user guide. I like the white finish on this product as it blends well with our walls and sockets. It feels very sturdy and durable. At first, I tried to directly setup the sockets using Google Home, but unlike other products, it looks like there is no direct way but to use the Smart Life app. I tried setting up the sockets using the wall socket close to my wifi router. The Smart Life app setup wizard was quick, and I got all the 4 sockets connected to my wifi in 5 minutes. Then I just linked the Smart Life app to my Google Home app and there I am now able to control everything from one app. Voice command works fine, I have labeled the sockets to correspond to the appliance connected to it for easy voice commands. I connected an exhaust fan to one socket and setup schedules to turn on and off, and it works well. So far, I am very happy with my purchase. Inexpensive smart solution that works very well. Highly recommended.

> 24 hourLoved the price and versatility and easy set up. One broke in a couple of weeks but I had threee spares so Ill just use one of them and see. At this price the loss of one wasnt a major issue. Not worth the time and effort to ask for replacement.

> 24 hourThis is my second Aoycocr WiFi plug. The first one gave me zero issues and I needed a second one so I choose to buy it again. I used one for my Christmas tree and the other for the outside Christmas lights. I choose evening and morning schedules plus names for them using the Smart Life app. I even installed the Smart Life app on the wifes phone so she could turn on the lights whenever she wanted. Everything worked flawlessly. I used this plug outside tucked under an eve for my Christmas lights. I worried moisture would be an issue but it was fine. Im already using the Smart Life app for WiFi lights throughout my house and the plugs fit right in with the line up. If you unplug it from the wall it goes offline until you plug it back in. Reconnect time is just a few seconds. I do have access to Alexa using my Fire Stick so I set that up as well. The grandkids had fun turning lights on/off with the remote. Great plug and simple to use.

> 24 hourAfter 45 minutes, Im sad to report that SmartLife should be the app you use to bring it into Alexa. Do not use the printed instructions. Do not do anything but use SmartLife. Once its connected, works perfectly!

> 24 hourLove how it works. They could improve the on-off switch. When you plug it in, the power/Wi-Fi button is hard to get to. On the bottom, so when you’re close to the floor it’s hard to see what color it’s glowing. Also, written instructions are small, could be clearer, and were hidden on the side of the box. It took some doing but glad I bought them!

> 24 hourWorks as intended, but has one flaw. Googles assistant WILL NOT do a countdown timer through Googles safety & compliance regulations. To ask Google to shut it off at any given time as a countdown to turn off wont work. But, the apps features will do a countdown timer. Makes no sense to me why not?

> 24 hourI picked these up specifically because as much as I like zwave technology, it seems to be rather expensive to implement large scale (even if it works pretty flawlessly). So thus became the hunt for some Home Assistant compatible plugs for some limited use applications. (turning off floor lamps and the such).. The box doesnt state HA compatibility, but after testing with Home assistant and my Conner ZWave/ZigBee stick, I can say HA does see the device and is able to toggle the state. Other than that, its a wifi Electrical outlet.. it works (ie: current passes through to the device, voltage seems pretty stable, noticed no major spikes or drops (have a multimeter)). Note, its not rated for a Fridge or other HEAVY motor (I have not tested it, but reading through the specs.. I wouldnt try it.. but for non-motorized applications it seems to work pretty good. Wifi/ZigBee, while MUCH cheaper to implement over ZWave (Opensource vs. Licensed), I have to say implementing Zigbee is a pain.. (not the device, just the overall tech). But the range for it is quite nice (much better than zwave, assuming a small number of devices) If you are not a sadist.. you can just grab their Smart Life app and use that to control the plugs and make scenes.. But the real power in these plugs is integrating them into larger systems so you have true automation.
