Astra Platinum Double Edge Safety Razor Blades ,100 Count (Pack of 1)

After shaving 4 times I really like these blades. I have used others over the past few years that were good but these are the best yet. They are very sharp so be careful not good for a first time user.

Bought them back in March 2014 and I still have about one half of the box to go ( Due to my employer I have to shave everyday I work). They fit my Merkur safety razor and give a close shave. If you pay attention to the blade you will notice it is numbered on each side (1 and 2 on one side/ 3 and 4 on the other). It seems to be sharper on the side numbered with 1 and 2 (it may differ for you, I have extremely thick beard) and I can shave up to four times with it. This is the only brand I have tried so far and it works well for me. There could possibly be other brands that would be of better quality out there (and more expensive). This seems to work for me because I got tired of throwing my money away (usually 25 bucks monthly) on a disposable cartridge that would give me a low quality shave.

Ive been using these for over a year now. Be prepared to change them often but honestly, theyre totally worth it.

This is my first pack of astra. These give the definition of disposable a whole new meaning. They barely make it through a shave and I keep a 5 oclock shadow so its only my neck and above beard. But these are so cheap that I happily toss em as quick as I put em on so 5 star for value.

I have used these with my Merkur razor for more than a year, now -- and I dont think Ill be going back to the Mach 3 anytime soon. There can be a bit of a learning curve when it comes to using a razor without a swivel head - but it takes no time at all to get the nack of it with a safety razor. I have gone through maybe 7 of the razors in the time Ive bought this product... they last a while, give a close shave, and are super easy on the pocket book.

Like not feeling so wasteful and disposing anymore plastic than I have to. Plus saves thousands of dollars a year.

Nice blades cut through my copper wire like stubble with no pull or drag. These blades are so smooth if I am in a hurry I can get away with a two pass shave instead of a three. These blades are owned by Procter and Gamble Czech Republic Division and made in St. Petersburg Russia. I know people dont get yourself in a huff with the nuh-unh Gillette owns them, Gillette was bought out by P&G in 2005. I can get 4 days shaving on one of these blades with regular growth no problem about every two or three days a lot of people rave on and on about Feather blades. I actually find them to sharp to go at a enjoyable speed and at the end of the shave I cannot tell one bit of difference in the closeness of the shave except I am not cut all to S#+@ and pay double for the blades to end up like that. Try a pack I guarantee you will like them.

I purchased these razors to go with my very first double-edge razor, which I decided to try because of skin sensitivities that often flared up with use of disposable razors when shaving my legs. I was not disappointed at all. I first tried the razors that came with the handle I bought and immediately got nervous thinking Id made a mistake with my investment, but instead of leaving it at that I decided to try these additional razors and Im glad I did. They provide the close shave that I was hoping for and leave my legs clear of all irritation, something I never thought Id see! The value is great on these razors since the quantity is so high, and it may be a year from now when I run out... but when I do, I will be back to buy more!

I use these blades to shave with every day.... they seem to last me a good amount of time.

Ive been using these blades for about two weeks and they are very good for the price. They seem light but are sharp. The package has many smaller packages of blades inside so its nice if you have to travel.
