> 3 dayIve tried many different blades with my Edwin Jagger: Feather blades are almost TOO sharp, they wear quickly, and they are quite pricey. Gillette Platinum were the closest to these and would be my second choice If I could no longer find these. They start sharp and smooth, are reasonably priced, and most importantly - they STAY sharp and smooth for longer than any other blade that Ive tried. I can use one of these daily and not really have to change it out for about 2 weeks or so, where most other blades I can only get about a week at best. Gillette was a close second in this regard as well. With regards to PLATINUM vs STAINLESS: they both start out similar, but the platinum blades hold their edge for longer no matter what the brand.

> 3 dayThis whole pack will probably last me forever. I had one little pack from the barber years ago and he gave me a tip on how to use them. 1 - Cut them in half 2 - You will see numbers on the blades. Use those numbers so you know when you have used that side. I will use one side until it no longer cuts, then flip the blade and use the other side. I use the high number to know when to toss it out. Doing it this way, you basically get four blades from each one.

> 3 dayDecent razors..dont irritate my face and do a good job of taking down the facial hair...wish the small boxes came with a slot to put the used blades like many others do...but thats nit-picking...very satisfied..and Im shaving for about 20 cents a week now instead of 3- 4 dollars

> 3 day4/5 Stars because the blades have a slight inconsistency with them. Its packaged as a box with smaller boxes in it, and in those are the indiviual blades in waxed paper. I love this packaging. The issue is the blades themselves, such as 1/4 blades will be not as sharp and will cause unnecessary pull, cuts, burns that I dont get with the rest of the blades.

> 3 dayFor the money, They are good blades. I get about a week of use out of each one. (I probably could go longer were it not for my OCD x) )

> 3 dayastra blades are good for Above The Tie. Merkur blades are good for most: like iKon, Merkur, and old gillette. kai and Feather blades are good for Feather. i use feather for a close light safe sensitive shave. iKon for more than light. and above the tie for growth of more than a few days. sometimes i can do a first shave with above the tie, and end with feather. i havent noticed a degradation in astra blades over the past few years like people have posted. i still think they are best for above the tie. i dont know why they are better. i change them all often, usually after 1 or two uses; so i am not speaking to durability. with what i spent on razors, brushes and a trip through comparative brand shopping for soaps, oils and other elixirs... the cost of these razor blades affords me the opportunity to usually use a fresh blade, considering i dont even shave most days. good price.

> 3 dayI absolutely love these blades. For the price point you just cant find a better blade. No matter which double edge razor I use these in, I always get a clean smooth shave. I usually get 4 to 5 shaves out of each blade. Of course, your mileage may vary.

> 3 dayIts taken me about 2 years to arrive to these wonderful pieces of heaven and my only regret is not finding them faster. I have very thick hair and the aforementioned blades ranged from uncomfortable (Feather) to painful (AM/PM.) These are the first blades that cut without an uncomfortable pulling sensation, and the best part is that theyre cheap to boot.

> 3 dayThey don’t cut very well and are extremely flimsy. Honestly if you don’t want to spend much money sure go for it, you’ll get 100 tough shaves. If you value your skin look somewhere else.
