As I get more accustomed to the old-fashioned safety razor, these blades have stood out as economical, yet comfortable. I change blades about once a week. If they were not so economical, I might try to stretch it out to two weeks, so I get a better shave now that with expense cartridges. I am quite satisfied with the Astra blades.

I was concerned by some of the negative reviews indicating a drop in quality, but the blades I received in 2020 are the same as theyve always been: logo printed (not engraved or stamped) in black ink on a blade that shaves well with almost no irritation or drag.

Love these in my safety razor. I have been using a safety razor for going on 7 months now. I have become a fan of this, as I was using the Gillette Fusion, with 4 blades, I lost count how many they added. I find that the safety razor lessens any razor bumps that I would have gotten after a week of shaving. I personally have to shave every business day for work. Sometimes I get the weekend off from shaving. But, with the newer razor I would start to end of with razor bumps, no matter the preshave oils, or shaving creams that I used. Its all from how close they get, and that they are taking the hair below the skin. I first started with a multi-pack of razors, that included I believe 18 different brands or styles of safety blades. I found that some brands did not work with my face or hair. Causing me to get more nicks than normal. I would only need one try with that blade to rule it out. I am now down to three brands and styles that I rotate between. The Gilette 7 0clock Platinum, Personna Platinum, and Astra Platinum. I find all of these work wonderfully for me. And I personally only use them for 3 or 4 shaves, and then put a new one on. The cost is so much cheaper than any other blades out there for the more modern razors.

These are decent razor blades but not quite the legendary, flawless blades Ive seen in numerous reviews and descriptions. The most shocking thing was the durability certainly did not match the claims that these things could last a week or more. After maybe 3 uses theyre skipping around with uneven sharpness and left me with a few nicks. I rarely EVER cut myself with blades even sharper than these. I also noticed they left me with mild irritation with daily use, something I didnt have with other blades. The batch I got dont last any longer than Voskhod, which, although not quite as sharp initially, is substantially smoother and has never given me a single nick. Its still a very solid razor blade for the low price but not matching the extraordinary things Ive read in reviews. Depending on how sharp of a blade you need Id recommend Voskhod (moderate sharpness but extremely smooth; perfect match for my facial hair/ skin) or Polsilver (sharper than what I personally need but still pretty smooth with zero nicks or irritation; superb blade) over these, which have given me some of the best shaves Ive ever had.

I have been a gillette mach 3 user for years since my teen years. In the last year I switch over to safety razors and it is night and day. I love the Astra blades and Derbys. 100 pack will last me almost two years for 10-12 bucks. Gillette was the costco pack every six months = 120 year. I came back from vacation and tried my gillette on vacation. God Almighty, that mach 3 left me with razor burn and irritation i come back and shave with my astra blades smooth and no irritation and no razor burn.

I prefer these to the Feathers and I seem to get a few more shaves out of each blade too.

Im relatively new to the double-edge shaving world. Was seeking a better way of shaving. I was relatively happy with the blades that came supplied with my new double-edged razor. After thinking about a huge sampler pack I decided to give these a whirl. I had read some reviews that these were good for guys with sensitive skin - which I have. Im about 5 blades into my 100 pack and am so far very impressed. I cant really see myself trying anything else unless its just for fun I guess? These work very well and I am expecting them to last me a LONG time. I use 1 blade for 2-3 shaves. I havent decided whether 2 or 3 is the optimal number of shaves. Lastly, if you get them, pay no attention to the numbers on the blades themselves, they are just used in the manufacturing process.

I use them to shave my legs. They dont rust out as fast as some other brands, I get a pretty close shave, a few nicks. Im going back to Shark after these, I feel like I got a smoother shave with them but these are a close second.

I find this blade to be a good middle ground, and use it daily. The price is reasonable and the blade not to sharp, it feels smooth compared to some of the others I have used. I use it for a bout 5 shaves and then they go to the recycling bin.

I used to buy double balded disposable razors like most men. I used safety razor with these blades. I remembered my grandfather and how he shaved with safe razors so switched. Works just as well, blades are super sharp and I usually use them for two shaves but if you have sensitive skin best to only use them once per shave like any disposable razor.. This pack of 100 blades will last me 6-8 months. Saves me a ton of $. You just have to be cautions in handling the blades and disposing of them safely
