I have used this to shave my legs and have had no problems with nicks. I am new to using a safety razor and I dont yet feel safe using it under my arms. But Ive had no problems whatsoever using it on my likes with these blades. In all honestly I have never tried other blades.

The 100 pack of Astra blades is an incredible value. The blades are good quality, and are more “skin friendly” than the Feather blades. They are a good intermediate step between your standard multi-blade razor and a straight razor.

Very close shave, very pleased with the price point. Pretty aggressive (to my liking), more so than shark and equivalent to the viking red label blades. The blades have the old style solid lettering, box indicates that theyre still made in Russia but now distributed by P&G. Can only speculate that they fixed whatever period of poor quality seen in the negative reviews.

Great blades. I think they are probably really good for most people. My wife uses them to shave her legs and really likes them. But they could be a little bit sharper for my taste. But this probably makes them better for most people because you dont have to worry to much about cutting your self unless you have an agressive safety razor that you are using it in

I use them daily. I did buy a 100ct which I shouldn’t have done. They don’t seemed to last as long as the feather blades I’m use to. After 2 shaves I swap. But for the price I can’t complain to much.

These blades are awesome! IMO I think they are much better than Feather and Personna. However, those other blades are well liked and might work better with different razors. I am using the Vikings Godfather and I feel these Astra blades give me the best shave hands down. Plus they are 10 cents a blade. I use them to shave my face and my head. I replace the blade each time only because I dont want to risk cutting my head. Although in the beginning I was doing 2 shaves with each blade and it was fine, but I just feel for 10 cents why not use a new blade. I only shave 1-2 times per week. If you are shaving your face only these blades will last 5-6 shaves easily. When you shave your head though the hair is a lot more dense than your face (especially in the back) and it dulls the blades much quicker.

Sharp and works great with the Leaf SE razor if anyone is wondering. Easy to be and snap from Double Edge to Single Edge.

These sons of a gun are sharp. When I shave the sides of my head I need to be extra careful. But they line up my beard so well.

I inherited a safety razor from my grandfather wayyyyy back. He died in 1973, and I got the razor from my mother when i was in my 20s. One day I decided to try it out and found out that a new blade gives you an excellent shave, and will last for close to a week. If you dont mind a little less close, or skip the weekends, one blade will last a full week. I bought these blades for $9.50, which comes out to $.095 a blade. By investing $30 to $40 on a traditional safety razor, and buying these blades, you can begin saving considerably when you consider a drug store disposable razor like the Gillette Mach 5 brand costs you around $17 for 10 blades. I have had a box of these razors last me for nearly two years, having had a full beard on and off. Seriously, give this a try and youll be pleased and surprised.

I would like to thank you for making a great raver blade that is amazing. It doesnt pull my hair but cuts it beautifully. This is a quality product, and I will be buying for in the future.
